I used to go to this flea market and it was fairly decent. Alot of stuff was kindof high. But a major drawback to this flemarket and area is one major issue. Mexicans. Large amounts of them. They have taken this over for years. They crowd around everything from food court to video game area and stare and look very creepy and very dirty. I have reported to INS and immigration services numerious times. So i avoid this flea market. I advice everyone else too. They stare at women very creepy like a rapist would. Just a real sleezy flea market now with all the illegals there..

The Shelby County Flea Market is an okay way to spend a couple of hours. It has the standard flea market fair (crafts, leather goods, electronics, some firearms-related material, lots of just junk, etc.)

The only drawbacks are 1) the smokey atmosphere around the food court which makes it hard to breathe and 2) the lack of military surplus dealers. The only one there has a limited stock and is ran by an extremely unpleasant and greedy individual who stares at anyone entering the booth as a potential thief. On my visit, he quoted one price for some items TWICE and then upped the price by a third no more than 30 seconds later upon seeing cash leave my wallet. Still further, he mouthed off once I refused to pay the hiked price. Needless to say, I'll not be swinging by his booth.

If you're interested in a variety of goods, the flea market is a good place to stop. If you're a military collector or looking for surplus, keep on going to the next place.

The Shelby County Flea Market in Simpsonville, Ky keeps giving out my cellphone as a way to contact a person named Dexter to buy and sell guns. I am having people calling me at all hours of the day and night wanting to buy guns. I have REPEATEDLY contacted the flea market as well as asking for this Dexter person and have asked them to stop. They refuse for some reason.

I am asking for help to get these people to stop giving out my cell number. I would really like to not have to change my cell phone because these people do not know how to run a business or give their customers the correct information.

This is a very satisfactory flea market. They keep it pretty clean. There is a very nice food court. it is a little smokey in there. They don't have anything that isn't worth selling.

They have new & used furniture. Fruits & veggies, large Avon booth of new items. Purses, toy & collectable cars. Shoes, shirts. A little bit of most stuff at the store at lower prices. Mostly new stuff inside and used close to yard sale price items outside. Some video games for the kids to play in the middle where the little food court & restrooms are located.

PROS: Variety of products.
CONS:

This Flea Market has been around for quiet awhile and is worth the day to browse.

Some of the dealers can be a little on the cranky or unsocialable side when asked questions.

Flea Market has several little eateries and pricing is quiet nice
