Houston Oaks Golf Course

Even though some may consider this course a little out of the way from the south end of Lexington, Houston Oaks is worth the drive to Paris for a nice round of golf. The course is generally kept in spectacular shape. The facilities and carts are quite nice. The course itself is a somewhat open design. It is reasonably long without being a beast. I take every opportunity to play here. Prices run around $40 for 18 with a cart.

One of the nicer courses in the area. Staff is a little pushy. Par 3s are challenging. Par 5s are reachable. Excellent greens. Thick bluegrass rough. Pro Shop is mediocre and reasonably priced.
