Surprisingly there is a lot of sushi in the area, but this is the best place for real authentic Japanese food --and at a reasonable price! There are sushi favorites, table top cooking sukiyaki, crispy well portioned tempura, steaming bowls of ramen and unique traditional Japanese side dishes for the more adventurous. It's only about 15 minutes from downtown or the airport, but to make it even more worth the trip, there is also a Japanese convenient store just next door. (A great place to explore the idea of making your own sushi, or just to shop for gift ideas for your sushi fanatic friend.)This place is frequented by regulars, but as goes with small establishments, it is either empty or packed.
