Edge-Full Svc Salon

I had never just walked into a salon to get my hair cut, I always stayed with one person for yrs. But I finally went into The Edge. I was nervous but right off I knew the stylist that was going to cut my hair knew what she was talking about when we were discussing what I needed to do. I have natural curl and she was right on target on knowing what to do so... i let her do it. It turned out better than I thought, for the first time ever, I did not go home and wash my hair and redo it. Everyone loved it! Christy did my hair and I HIGHLY recommend herto everyone! Especially if you have natural curl! She is awesome! Thank you!

I have a PHOBIA of SALONS!!!!! NOT NO MORE!!!! Well after hours of convincing by my sister-in-law I finally decided to go and get my hair done. I went all out to major cut and color (3 tone) I set in my chair for the better half of my visit with my hands covering my face. All the while, Lauren continued to be patient with me as I changed my mind like a Billion times and sat there in complete fear continuously reassuring me everything was going to be OK. I was still skeptical but pursued anyway hoping for the best, after all was said and done I looked in the mirror with the most amazing cut and color I had ever had! I looked and felt 10 years younger and being who I am REALLY need that.When I got home my Husband and kids took one looked and the drop of there jaws said it all----Thanks Lauren--You Are The Best!!

I colored my hair at home and it was a complete disaster! I needed help and I needed it FAST! MY good friend recommended The Edge Full Service Salon because she said "It's the best Salon in Louisville". I called that next day from work and I spoke personally to the Owner, Jennifer Leo (Love Her!)she was so nice, she told me "not to worry myself anymore, I was in good hands and her Salon could fix any mistake, That her and her staff are Color Specialist". She made me an appointment that evening at 8:00 PM, after I got off work (They are open until 10:00 PM!) When I arrived, I was greated by a very sweet young lady who offered me a chamomile tea (I guess I still looked upset!)Jennifer did several things to fix what I had done, and conditioned my hair at no charge just to repair the damage that I had done. When finished, she turned me towards the mirror, I could have fainted. I would never have expected my hair could look this good. The price at check out, I could have fainted there as well, $175.00 incl. cut and style (with the free conditioning) UNBELIEVABLE! I thought it would be at least $300.00 easy with what my hair looked like when I walked in. Which lead me to make this reveiw. I would give this Salon a 10 star rating if possible. People stop me all the time and ask me now "who does your hair?". I love my hair now and my husband actually used the word HOT to describe to his new friend what I look like now after telling him of my disaster. To anyone out there looking for a Salon, I recommend The Edge Full Service Salon in P.R.P. as "THE VERY BEST IN LOUISVILLE". I recommend the Owner Jennifer Leo but all the Staff that was there that evening was so very nice and helpful. They seem to like each other and work very well as a Team. The Salon is open until 10 PM, great for us working gals! The Atmoshere is nothing like any Salon I have ever been in, very relaxed, comfortable and I will never go anywhere else!

PROS: Color Specialists, Open until 10 PM, Comfortable Relaxed Atmoshere!!!!
CONS: That there is only one Salon, They shoud be everywhere!

I love the location and hours of this business. I prefer the girl Maggie - she is very talented & always seems to please. She does great cuts & color. Call and set up time to see her for a great look!
