Moss Dance Academy Llc

Hey! I have been at moss from when it opened. There I have made friends, learned a lot and grown as a dancer. Moss is fun and everyone learns a lot. The two owners and all the staff are kind, understanding, and really work had on helping you.

From balle to voice, pointe to hip hop, acting to tap, and many more they offer many classes. I must stay Moss is the BEst dance studio I have danced at!

Moss Dance Academy has been a great place for my daughter to dance, act and sing. The teaching staff is proffesional and qualified. They give time and attention to every student and have really built up my daughter's confidence. I would recommend Moss to everyone looking for quality training in a nurturing environment.

I have danced at Moss for sometime, I left last year. The instructor (Miss Amy) picks favorites and only likes "her favorites." I would not recommend Moss to anyone. She is unfair, rude, and not willing to give everyone a chance. I WOULD NOT GO HERE.

Moss Dance Academy and Acting is one of the finest organizations that my family had been involved with. My youngest daughter is dancing four hours a week and is an active part of their competition team. She is also part of the their ongoing acting group.

My oldest daughter both danced and acted with Moss Dance Academy and it has truly helped her in both school and in lfe. She developed an inner confidence in her singing voice and recently served as a student director for her school play.

I can highly recommend Moss Dance Academy to anyone.

I started Moss Dance Academy right before they performed High School Musical. Its a lot of fun and I have learned so much even though I haven't been there for very long. I am only signed up for the Theatre Workshop, but I would love to take dance and voice because it is such a great place. I can't wait until Pirates of Penzance, and Mr. Joe and Mrs. Amy are really nice and great people. I am so glad a friend told me about Moss! I quit Speech and Drama to go to Moss, and although I miss it, I'm really glad I tried Moss.

I just saw the Christmas production at moss dance academy, it was AMAZING! They worked so hard to make it a quality show and that is definitely what it turned out to be! The directors Joe and Amy Moss do a wonderful job every year. Amy Moss especially has a great bond with all the children and my little girl had a blast in the show! Amy makes everyone fell like they are the star in the production! I admire her work and appreciate Amy so much! She does so much for my child and many other people's child! I am proud to be a part of such a family oriented quality organization

Moss, without it I would not have amazing friends, quality dance, voice, and acting training (triple threat). When I came to Moss 4 years ago (when it first opened) I had an eye opening experience, I discovered what a real dance family was like. We have fun, these girls are my sisters. I LOVE MOSS!!!

moss dance academy is almost like my 2nd home. The people there are almost like family. I've been at moss for a really long time and I highly reccomend it. Moss is the best thing that ever happened to me!!!!!!

My daughter was at her first Dance Studio for eight years, competing for 3 of them, before moving to Moss. Of course it was hard to leave all our acquaintances and friends, but we were so welcomed at Moss. Amy Moss is such a giving and loving teacher and person, my daughter, (and I), love her so much. I am always able to watch my daughter ANY time I want, the Academy is a very open environment. Amy is ALWAYS smiling and comes out to talk to all the parents, something that hardly never happened at the other studio. She still thanks me for coming to Moss, we have been competing and taking classes there going on 3 years now. And usually when she does this I am sitting in my car watching the girls (and a few guys - you guys can come dance too!) thinking to myself about how blessed we are that we are at Moss. What a wonderful change it was, I should be thanking Amy Moss. And so I tell her that.
AND they have Theater and Voice lessons, Joe Moss teaches these, along with others. We love Mr. Joe, too! This is a TRUE TRIPLE THREAT ACADEMY! When the Academy is closed for the tiny bit in the summer and fall, my daughter goes crazy. She loves Moss Dance, the Moss Family, the people there, and everything to do with Moss Dance Academy.
I read another review that mentioned Amy Moss' prices to be too expensive. When we came from our previous studio, her prices were lower. Also, my daughter is being trained by adults, not teens that are still taking classes themselves or have just graduated from high school. Now she takes dance, competition company, theater classes, and voice lessons and we still are averaging near the same amount we paid for just dance classes and competition team at our other studio. We get quality training. You may pick another dance establishment, but most are a dime a dozen.

Moss Dance and Performing Arts Academy is not only a dance and acting studio, but a giant family. Every single student who attends Moss is given a great deal of individual attention as well as being welcomed into a loving, family friendly environment. The training received at this fine establishment in jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, hip hop, tumbling, voice, and acting is impeccable and comparable to no other studio in the area. I would also like to point out that in the "7 Tips For Writing A Good Review" it says "no abusive language." Amy Moss is most definitely not condescending nor dismissive (Chris). I would highly recommend this academy to anyone seeking quality training in the performing arts.

Moss dance academy is the best studio in the area if i do say so myself..and i am very confident that everyone i train with would say the same. Everyone who comes in is welcomed in to the great big Moss family. Moss is a great place for any level dancer. And so anyone who has not actually been a part of moss and have witnessed the loving environment of this fine establishment should most definitely not be criticizing it...thank you.

I have danced at Moss Dance Academy since 2002. I take ballet, Tap, jazz voice and acting. I hope to go to college with a musical theater degree and hope to someday be a professional dancer on broadway. Thanks to Moss Dance Academy my dreams are coming true. I have received quality dance training in a structured and loving environment. I would recommend this studio to anyone who wishes to receive quality dance training.

We interviewed the owner of this dance studio while looking for dance instruction for our little girls, and we were very disappointed with our conversation. The owner (from California) was rather condescending, and criticized both the city where we live and other dance studios in town. Her classes were expensive, and we decided that her dismissive attitude was not a good fit for our family. We chose another local studio and were much happier there!
