I went with my wife to the mini golf. The surroundings are very nice (lakes, trees, etc.), but the course was not in the best shape. There were some little stones and a few puddles in the green (it had rained the day before), the bricks on the edges were not even, etc. It wasn't as bad as to spoil our fun, we are not very picky regarding mini-golf courses and just went there to have fun, which we certainly did. It would have been frustrating if we were more into the competition and really cared who won though.
This is the best park I have ever been too, the games are so fun, lazer matrix is far better than lazer blaze and the go-karts are lightning fast. The staff are so nice including this red haired kid named Brandon at the redemtion couinter and this tall kid named Colin. The bathrooms are very clean. The only problem I had is the manager named Dixie, she is very moody and never there to help.
I've been going to this place since it originally opened and I completely disagree with the last two reviews. As a Mom of three kids, all of which have had a birthday party at the Fun Park over the past three years (they love the Cash Cube and Laser Tag), this year so far has been the best. The place was extremely clean, friendly staff, and they are reasonably priced for all they offer. The outside looked newly painted, our birthday room was finally a different color other than purple, and the Go-Karts didn't appear to be in bad condition at all. The Greens could definitely use a good makeover, but that doesn't seem to bother my family in the slightest. We LOVE the Fun Park and we'll definitely be back!!
My family used to visit the Renaissance Fun Park often and we loved it. It has been a year since our last visit and wow, what has happened?? This place is ridiculus, the golf course is terrible and they charge way too much to play on a course like that. Not to mention the gokarts are in terrible shape. I dont know what has happened since our last visit but this place has definitely went way down hill. Really sad because it used to be so nice. I will never go back.
My family visited this park for the first time on June 14, 2008 around noon. To our surprise it was not busy at all. There were 3 of us total including one child. We started out playing mini golf; the total came to $21, which was a little pricey compared to other places.
The golf course was ridiculous. The greens were torn up in several places, there were rocks and mulch all over the place, and water filled some of the holes, also some of the holes stuck out further than the green. It looked like it had not been maintained in years.
Inside we found about 4 staff just standing in a circle chit chatting. My son really wanted to play games but at this point I was disgusted. While my husband went to the restroom my son was looking at all the games when he showed me a pair of scissors that were sitting on one of the games. I am thankful that no one hurt themselves with the scissors. I took them to staff and they said, ??Oh thanks for bringing them up.? We left immediately. I e-mailed the park with details of my visit and no one even responded!
What a great place to take the kids!! Its so much fun.. They even let you book kids parties there a well and offer package rates. They have a kiddie playground, laser tag arean and two 18 hole mini golf courses.. and even go karts.. They have it all!! Make a full day of it, theres lots to do!! and the kids sleep well that night.. lol.. great place
There is so much to do at Renaissance Fun Park. The kids get so excited going here because there are so many games and activities to choose from. There are arcades, miniature golf, laser tag play area, a playground for the little ones, and a go-cart track to race on which is a favorite for the older kids (and adults too). It's a bunch of fun.
This is a nice getaway from the norm. It is still fun to remember when you were a kid. I liked playing the golf the most, but video games came in a close second. The staff was very laid back and told us about discounts. There was also go cart rides, but didn't do. The only thing I don't like is that it is on a main street. It would be better if it were in the country with more options. There are two golf courses to do. The inside area was a little noisy and slightly dirty, but it comes with the territory.
This is a fun place to take the family. It has games, putt putt golf, race cars and bumper boats. They were still building that the last time we were there. You get tickets to redeem for prizes when you play the arcade games. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly. They seem to enjoy what they do.
The prices are good and you can buy drinks & food there as well. THe outside is landscaped beautifully.
