5 Stars: Looking for a great small college? (by Whitney T.)

Spalding University is one of the oldest and most respected colleges in KY. They offer a small classroom environment and an awesome 6 week course schedule. I would recommend them to anyone, high school graduates or adults! They have an Adult Accelerated Program which is supposed to be great too!

5 Stars: The people make it great! (by Jan D.)

I have attended Spalding University for the past two years. I was new to the area and the faculty and students at Spalding welcomed me graciously. Also, they have a great emphasis on diversity and encourage students to have open hearts and minds. Although the courseload is demanding, faculty and peers are there to lend a helping hand. The cooperative atmosphere can't be beat.

3 Stars: Expensive but nice university. (by Judy W.)

I attended Spalding University for a short time before transferring to the University of Louisville. This is a very small university with mostly female students. The selection of undergraduate programs is not huge. I would suggest going to the University of Louisville where there are so many programs to choose from. The main reason to attend Spalding University is for the small classes. The professor will know your name, unlike some of the large classes at U of L. Be willing to pay a lot to attend this university, but then you pay a lot to attend almost every college. You must pay to park. This university is located in downtown Louisville, not far from the public library. The teachers do seem to care about all the students. You will definitely get individual attention at this school.
