Ok, this place is good for buying used books, but selling items is crap! They only gave me a few dollars for comics i knew to be worth more,but im strapped for cash. Also, dont sell any rare games...stick to ebay. They will knowingly look you in the eye and rip you off!!!!!!!!!

I loved to browse the Highlands Book and Music Exchange regularly when I lived in Louisville. The Book & Music Exchange offered the best prices on used books. I also great trade in values for bringing in CDs and books. Its definitely worth checking out this store on a regular basis to see what new stuff they have to offer. The store itself has an "Empire Records" type feel as everyone is very ecclectic!

PROS: Cheap used books
CONS: Parking can be difficult to find at times

Book & Music Exchange is a great place to trade or sell your paperback books, cds, or computer games. They do not give much money for your items. I believe it was ten cents per book the last time I went there. The best thing to do is trade in your stuff for something in their store. The selection of paperback books is pretty good, although you probably will not find any hard to find books but then you never know what might pop up. The cd selection is okay. The store is bright and fairly clean. The employees are sociable, but are not really familiar with what items are in the store. Prices are good. Parking can be a problem. You must drive around the street looking for a spot on the road.

If your like me and love to read, you can go through books pretty fast. But it gets to expensive to keep buying new books. This place is great! You can take in your books for them to buy from you and buy there cheap used books as well, and when your done reading them, just take it right back to get you another! They also buy the cds you no longer listen to as well. A great way to get rid of things your not reading or listening to and get ones that are wanting to read!! Great quiet place. Small, but nice!

I go there to exchange my used paperback and hard back books. You can purchase books for $1 and then trade them in when you're done. They also take music, cds etc. This is a cheap way to stay up on all the current reading.

they are very cheap and have great service but still only have top notch books trading cards games movies and stuff like that they also host magic the gathering tournaments as well as yugioh tournaments. you can also come in pick up a book off the shelve and sit down on there couches and read, mangas and stuff like that.

It's not a large place, but you can find a variety of books, music and more here. They've been a staple in the highlands area for a long time and people go back again and again.

A great place to get rid of your books and music that you no longer need. You can exchange them in for trade and get something they have. The exchange rate will vary and the more popular of an item, the more you'll get. You'll see a lot of different things and you'll probably find something you will like. When your done just bring them back and get something else.

You can also buy items and the prices are affordable and they run buy 4/5 for x amount all the time.
