We drive over 70 miles one way to visit the Noble Savage every chance we get. The food is great, the service is always wonderful and it is always a joy. The prices are not high and there is something for every price range. Music late on the weekends or go in early and have a quite intimate dining experience.
My husband and I love this place.
This is the only place in town I know of that if you go for a dinner service,..ask what the off menu specials are. They usually include more exotic fare that are prepared with the skills of a four star restaurant. These selections can be a lil pricier, but are well worth it.
I have only visited this Tavern once when I 1st moved here in 2000. My Wife and I were invited to meet up with a German Club that meets there. The Place is located downtown Shreveport and is pretty big. The Waitress was pretty nice. The Drinks were a bit pricy. Place seemd like a Tavern with rustic decor.. Not bad but I was not impressed. I just couldn't get comfortable
