Mandeville Bake Shop

Having recently moved from N.O. to Mandeville I was very happy to have tried Mandeville Bake Shop, everything I have gotten has always been fresh and very good. I would have to rank it as one of the best bakeries in New Orleans

The cakes are great. They have a nice selection of things to order, but I found that their service was horrible. They have many teenagers working and they seemed like they just couldn't get it together. It took forever to be serviced. I also ordered a cake online that I needed it decorated a certain way and was told by an employee that it couldn't be done, so I ended up ordering it from another bakery. In the end, after speaking to a manager, the cake could have been done. So with some of the employees being so young, I think there is a lack of communication there.

Mandeville Bake Shop has some of the best cake you will ever put in your mouth. I live in New Orleans, but find it worth it to go over there to get a cake. They're WONDERFUL! Their white cake with buttercream icing is to die for and you won't be disappointed. Plus, their prices are super reasonable. I love this bakery!
