4 Stars: Great food and service! (by Michelle B.)

The service here is great and so is the food! I like to sit in the bar area facing the street so I can see people passing by. The wait staff is always polite, helpful, and friendly. They bring you a basket of tasty hush puppies to start. They have great seafood entrees featuring shrimp, crab, crawfish, and different fish varieties. they make an excellent gumbo. They also have fabulous desserts.

5 Stars: Seafood at it's finest! (by Allison K.)

It takes more than Katrina force hurricanes to put down a fine restaurant like Ralph & Kacoos. The quality of the food is superb and I agree, the gumbo is out of this world. Their seafood stuffing on top of many of their fish entrees is awesome. The atmosphere, the food, the staff, and just being in New Orleans make this a dining experience you won't forget.

5 Stars: It Will Become One of Your Favorites (by Shoshana B.)

Eat here once and I guarantee it will become one of your favorite restaurants in New Orleans and in the world. The restaurant went through a rough patch after Hurricane Katrina, but it has come back strong. Service is impeccable once again and the food is the best.

I recommend the Crab Trap: crabs served several ways or the Shrimp Trawler: shrimp served deliciously in ways you never thought of. There are also pasta dishes and steak and chicken for the landlubbers.

Try the etouffe. In my opinion it is the best in New Orleans.

While you are dining check out the Mardi Gras costumes that grace the walls and take a little walk through the rest of the restaurant, one room is more beautiful than the next.

5 Stars: excellent (by Judith A.)

I discovered this place after several trips to New Orleans. It's a wonderful seafood restaurant. Get hushpuppies and gumbo. They had alligator soup when we were there. Very interesting. It's not as pricey as some of the restaurants, and it's just as good.
