The sad fact is that we only got to see Dr. Henry, and the New Orleans Veterinarians at Crescent City Vet, at the end of my buddy Riley's life.
Dr. Henry and the whole staff at Crescent City Vet totally exceeded my expectations from our past experiences with New Orleans Veterinarians.
The atmosphere of their office is great, bright and airy, there is a kids area which made it easy to bring our 6 y.o. along and the staff are compassionate and wonderful.
If you are looking for a Veterinarian in New Orleans, you must call Crescent City Vet. We have been all around the area (Metairie, Mandeville) and seen no fewer than a dozen veterinarians. New Orleans Crescent City Vet is by far the most compassionate and caring we've ever seen.

Dr. Hansen and Dr. Henry have been taking care of my pets since I was in college (it's now about six years later). My cat, Lagniappe, was four years old and had been having mysterious health problems for a while. Both doctors cared for her and about her not only on a doctor level, but on a HUMAN level as well. I could tell that they did everything medically possible for this little fuzzball I loved so much. When it turned out that Lagniappe's problem was inoperable, they shared my tears, called my home several times to see how my fiance and I were doing, and even sent flowers. They also offered to help our two other cats with their grieving process. They are truly wonderful doctors. That's not to give short shrift to the rest of the staff - they are all wonderful with the animals and customers. The office is ALWAYS spic and span clean, and everyone knows the name of all customers (humans and pets). CCV is medically wonderful as well as a truly love-fest for your furry family members.
