Was in Shreveport for the weekend and was hoping to maybe find some good Cajun food in Northern LA and boy did I!! It was great, all authentic and done to perfection. I would suggest this place to anyone, esp. to those who are trying Cajun/Creole for the first time. I had the Cajun sampler and there was a little bit of everything. Waitstaff was nice, as well. It's not just for tourists either, saw some local high school kids in there, too!

Blind Tiger has excellent cajun food and they are located right off of the red river. They are a family restaurant by day and a semi- night club at night.

The Blind Tiger downtown, near the casino district. It's neighbors are an ecclectic mix of art galleries and specialty shops. The food is truly world class. They can take a basic hamburger and turn it into a mouthwatering work of art with a few carefuly thoughtout ingredients. The prices are actually rather reasonable, considering the location and the calibur of food.
PROS: Amazing food
CONS: Little parking is available
