Konditor Meister

I had a Konditor Meister Wedding Cake for my wedding 5 years ago. It looked gorgeous. While I was with my family having wedding photos my guests were taking pictures of the wedding cake. It helped people to start conversations.
I'm glad that my wedding consultant recommended that I place it where people can easily see it. Also, since we were on a budget I had the cake as my dessert. There was plenty for everyone and some people had two slices. I also had white buttercream cascade that helped with my budget and still it looked very classy.
Now I'm ordering my son's 3 year old birthday cake. I always order the strawberry gran marnier, but I'm told the chocolate chocolate mousse is really yummy!

Their cakes are gooood. I have brought their boston cake and some more cakes for b'days and mothers day and also shower cakes. They r so soft and spongy and rich with decorations. I love their cakes. If u have sweet tooth for creamy cakes plz go in here. Its bit pricy but good. Try their pastries too. Mmmmmmm yum.

My husband and I ordered our wedding cake from Konditor Meister and spent a lot of time with a consultant who seemed to take good notes of what we wanted. What a disappointment on our wedding day, however!!! The cake's fondant had cracked in several places, the colors and design were COMPLETELY wrong!! it was as if they gave us someone else's cake. While the cake tasted good, we were so disappointed. They provided no explanation or apology. It was disappointing because our extended family has always relied on Konditor Meister for birthdays. Seems they can handle small events such as this, but if it is a very important occasion don't trust them.

I ordered a cake for my daughters sixteen birthday, it was the worst tasting cake I had ever tasted, the caked was decorated very pretty but tasted nothing like it looked. The cake was so bad I had to buy her another cake from some where else, I think their cakes are very over rated.

Overall, I've had their cakes and I think people over exxagerate. The cakes are "ok" if you like dry or grainy cake. I've had better cake from Stop & Shop. Whatever you do, don't believe the hype about their cake. FYI...The prices are not worth it either.

I will be uploading a picture to show everyone the cake that Konditor Meister made for our wedding. Notice the lean on the top tier, and the incorrect colors of the flowers on the top of the cake.
After many jokes were made at our wedding (including our DJ announcing it to everyone!!), over $200 paid to our photographer to photoshop our pictures, and many conversations with management and ownership, they decided to refund 20% of the cake cost. Unfortunately they'd originally promised full refund, failed to remit any refund until we called over 7 times, then had the nerve to try and say it was someone elses fault!!! We paid extra for the owner to make the cake, looks like the owner should just keep out of the kitchen. Advice...STAY AWAY from this lying, overrated, and inconsiderate business!!! Trust us, you don't want to rely on them for your wedding.

After having a Konditor Meister cake at a friends wedding, I was hooked!! The cake was Strawberry Grand Marnier and it was delicious: not too sweet, and not too heavy. When a friend of mine had a baby shower, I insisted on providing the cake so I could choose Konditor Meister. Everyone raved about how awesome it was!

For my own wedding, we choose Bailey's Irish creme as well as Strawberry Grand Marnier layers of cake. The cakes are not only delicious, they are beautifully decorated. The prices are reasonable, for the quality you are getting. The store also carries various baked goods, which I have tried, but I am sure they are equally well prepared.

If you want a world class cake for your next event, this is the place to go. I ha done of their cakes for my wedding and it was "to die for. Just the appointment to choose the cake was fun. They have a small cafe type sitiing room and they bring in slices of diiferent cakes for you to try while you look through the books for your design! So fun. do this with your bridesmaids!
If looking for a cake for another event, they have adorable baby shower cakes, anniversary etc and can design what ever you'd like. You can watch the "artists" at work from their shop and see them decorating cakes. Not cheap but worth every penny. Something for everyone's tastes!

Average overall experience. Our cake was not cooled and ended up sliding apart during transport. We could not use one of the layers it was so badly damaged. I know this is Boston's Best but I was disappointed. On the plus side, people could not stop talking about the cake and how good it was. I did not get to have any but I am sure we will enjoy our cake top next year

Konditormeister is the best place in New England to get a cake of ANY kind. I know they are known for Wedding cakes, but I've gotten my kids' birthday cake s there as well as cakes for other occasions and I can't even describe how great they are. They melt in your mouth. You can call ahead by 2 days to special order something, or go to their counter during regular hours and they have plenty of cakes to choose from. Always a hit.

The cakes at Konditor Meister are incredible. If you are celebrating a birthday, anniversary, graduation, wedding, or any special occasion definitely consider them. They have so many flavors of cake and filling to choose from, and all of them are delicious. Their service is also wonderful as they let you taste samples to help you find the perfect cake for your occasion.

Best cake I've ever had from a bakery. Moist and heavy.

Too many flavors to choose from! The cake I got had big, beautiful chocolate dipped strawberries on top.

So good, especially if you like booze. The Kahlua cake with chocolate covered strawberries is one of the best cakes I've ever tasted. Pricey, but worth it. Parking is ample, but Braintree is a pain during rush hour.
