Authentic Italian Restaurant for over 40 years. Come join us for some great steaks, tender veal, chicken and a great selection of seafood. Portions are very generous so be prepared. Try our delicious Chicken Braccalitine (chicken breast rolled with imported ham and cheese, sauteed with mushrooms and Marsala wine) or our Veal Cutlet and Eggplant Parmigiana (veal and eggplant baked en casserole with parmigiana cheese).
This place is an insitution in Quincy. It's always been great food but has been renovated in the last couple years and is even better! The food, service and hostess are great.

Their shop across the street sells great Italian goods...
...so why is the food here always terrible?
It's not even worth taking a chance on. I promise. It's one of a small handful of restaurants I won't go back to.
Been three times... never good.

Manager at reception desk was extremely rude. Accused us of lying about making reservations. He had also given the family in front of us a hard time about their reservations also. The waitress was very rude. They refused to accept a gift certificate that we had because it was a holiday to them. It wasn't a holiday to us and the gift certificate only had a restriction about using in on Friday or Sat and this was a
Sunday. I told the mananger that was false advertizing by not going by the policy on the gift certificate. Then he started to say that we were liars about making reservations. We offered to show him our phone which had the phone # called on it. He then said that it is his word against ours and he knows that he is right and we are lying. At that point we left the restaurant and told him we would never be back. This is the first time in my lif e that I have walked out of a restaurant. I have never been treated so rudely in my life. A good place to stay away from.
Pros: none
Cons: rude people

No wonder why this restaurant has been here for decades! Even though it changed ownership, they still have the quality, fantastic service, great accommodations, etc. you can get anywhere. Even if i lived 50 miles away, I still would make frequent trips here. You can't beat the prices also. Special kudos to Flossie! She's the best!!

We go to Alfredo's often and have always been pleased. However, we went this past Sunday and it was very average at best. It was pretty early...7ish and they were out of Prime Rib, out of Swordfish.....the service was painfully slow. We like it there and will definitely go back....but not on a Sunday!!
Pros: usually very good.......
Cons: Sunday nights they seem to be in disarray.

My husband and I went to Alfredo's and we loved it!!! The portions were huge and the service was exceptional. We will make it a 'regular' place for us!!!
Pros: Service, Price, Taste
Cons: Busy on Weekends

I don't know if all of these other people ate at the same restaurant that we did. It was our first time and walking in we were the youngest people there by far (we're late twenties) and it was obvious that most everyone there were what you would consider 'regulars'. There was a wait in the dining room so we sat at the bar and, while the waitress was friendly, the service was beyond slow. There was a very limited bar menu (when my husband asked for a Sam Adams Oktoberfest they said "we don't carry weird beers.") The menu was very limited and the food came out lukewarm. The lasagna was alright but the surf and turf was nasty. Cold prime rib, cold battered shrimp, and the mashed potatoes tasted exactly like box Au Gratin potatoes whipped into mashed. Overall, don't bother.
Pros: friendly
Cons: service, bar menu, food

I 've been going to Alfredo's since a coworker recommended the place for drinks after work. Recently, they have been renovating the place a lot (probably new management). The staff is always very friendly (drinks on the house sometimes if you are a regular) and their food is quite good. I personally like their Sirloin Tips with some good red wine (the Chiantis are my favorite.) I must say that their portions are indeed quite generous, so
it is a good idea to bring an empty stomach or you will be taking food home.
I only wish this place was closer to downtown Boston.
Pros: Plenty of parking, good portions, chill atmosphere
Cons: Far from downtown Boston

Entirely changed since the old management, I just wish there were more of them!!! Definitely get the chicken parmigiana :)
Pros: Parking

Alfredo's is a diamond in the rough. The restaurant is family owned and has been recently renovated. The menu is good with plenty of choices and not pricey. My favorite I'd have to say is the chicken parmesan dish with pasta. The chicken was so juicy and dipped in the sauce I wanted to order two of them! The staff is very friendly. I even got to meet the chef in person to show me how he makes the chicken parm. It's ideal if you want to have a family night out at a cozy and friendly atmosphere.
Pros: Good food, newly renovated, friendly atmosphere, parking
Cons: karaoke is loud

In a city full of good restaurants it would be difficult to have a winner. However, Alfredo's is definitely one of the city's very best restaurants, where the customer leaves completely satisfied. Excellent dishes, good portions, a warm atmosphere and a smily staff ready to assist you. Two thumbs up. A must try, although not in the center of the city.

We have been to Alfredo's too many times to count, and for good reasons:
Excellent Food and Generous Portions, Wonderful Service in a Great Atmosphere. A great (and reasonably priced) dinner for two, or bring a group for a fun night out! Here's where you'll find that home style Italian cooking that's missing from the restaurant scene, as well as dinner specials every night of the week. There's a reason we keep coming back for more!
Pros: Great food at a great price - best wait staff around!
Cons: Didn't find out about Alfredo's sooner!

I went to Alfredo's recently. The staff was very friendly and courteous, seating was prompt, and the portions were huge. The stuffed lobster special was excellent! I would definitely recommend it.
Pros: Service, parking, portion sizes

I went to Alfredo's last Saturday with my wife and we had a great overall experience. The portions were very generous; especially the prime rib. The service was great and the staff were all very friendly. I will definitely go back there again. Nothing was left to be desired!
Pros: Great portions, friendly staff
Cons: none
