great food

by Sharon V. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 139

This place is loved by all. You'll find it packed with college students as well as families with children. The food is really good. I especially like the chicken Parmesan and the spicy spaghetti with meat sauce.

Pasta e Basta

by Karen D. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 765

Pasta E Pasta is our favorite restaurant in Amherst. A cute restaurant with three floors of dining. The first floor is more typical pizzeria atmosphoere and the upper two floors is more fine dining. The food is excellent I highly recommend their lobster ravioli. Pizza is pretty good. Prices range from moderate to high. Excellent service.

Yippee!

This is a really cool restaurant with upstairs/downstairs areas for dining. The upstairs is really unique, ask for a window seat if possible. There are lots of beautiful plants, and oh yes, the food! There are many different sauces to choose from, and many different pastas to put them on. I really like the bowtie and pesto combo!

Best local pasta

by Amy W. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 466

I Love this place. It has some of the best spaghetti and meatballs and other pasta dishes. The portions are huge and you can definitely make two meals out of the meal depending how hungry you are when you go in. they give you bread with your order and it is So great- especially when it is still warm. it is a cafeteria style place- you go in and order and get your number and go up and pick it up when the meal is done. The prices are good. During the academic year, this place can get so Busy since it is in the middle of Amherst close to UMASS and Amherst college. There are so many college age kids here it helps keep it loud and fun. The prices are great- especially considering how much food you get. Great place!!
