Chandler Inn Hotel  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

I liked that we got a free Boston Globe newspaper. The room had nothing but the very basic amenities. The bed wasn't very comfortable (it was hard) and the bedding/bed spread was pretty ugly. The bathroom was pretty small and looked worn. This hotel isn't luxurious, but it is adequate. Staff is pretty helpful here. This hotel is pretty cheap, and well located.

Great Location, friendly staff 5 Star Rating - World class

Small friendly hotel with small cute rooms, very clean and comfortable. Very cozy lobby, great specialty coffee maker which is free. They have wireless internet that works perfectly in the lobby. The location is great, near the trendy Tremont St., pet friendly and very helpful front desk staff.

Cozy and Friendly 4 Star Rating - Very good

Do not be fooled by negative reviewers! I just stayed at the Chandler Inn and found it to be incredibly pleasant all around. Rooms are certainly not large, but they are clean and comfortable. The staff is outstanding and helpful. The neighborhood is wonderful and the staff can direct you to the best spots for dining or walking. Housekeeping excellent. Certainly not for everyone, but for those looking for a nice place to stay for a few days, the Chandler Inn, for me, is ideal.
