Blanchard Liquor

This store, in an area frequented by college students, is a decent place to buy alcohol. They sell kegs, beer, wine, hard stuff. They are also pretty well known for the wine tastings that they have on the weekends. Usually they start around 5pm and end when everyone is done tasting. The staff here is also very considerate and helpful. They told me that you can get great cheap riesling as long as it's made in Germany. Other stores just tell you that the cheap ones aren't good.

This is my neighborhood liquor store and I love it. The service here is great..the liquor knowledge of the staff is top notch. These guys really know their scotch. I often ask for a suggestion because I am new to the scotch but they come up with a winner every time. The prices there are a little bit high but overall this place offers a great selection and great service.

PROS: Customer service
CONS: Redemption area is smelly both the people and the area.

We always buy our liquor at Blanchard's and it is always a great experience. The wine specialist has helped me work from magazine articles - if I can't find the exact wine, he has always nailed the taste I'm looking for on the head with a recommendation. Very impressive.

PROS: Great selection and knowledgable staff
CONS: Bottle return area smells

Lots of cheap beer and wine and liquor. They got a great range of names to chose from. prices vary on the quality of the product. the store is small.
