Jacks Drum Shop

I went into Jacks Drum Shop to pick up some drum heads for my husband. This store is the largest drum store in the area that I know of. I ended up picking up some sticks for my husband also because they were very inexpensive. I got confused as to what heads I had to buy for my husband's drums. The staff at the store was great. They helped me figure out what I needed to get. They were really friendly and nice about the fact that I know nothing about drums.

This place is a totally local drum shop in every sense of the word. It has a slightly funny smell, it's well worn and haphazardly arranged. The staff are mostly students and all drummers. Jack (or who I assume to be him) is a character and is often at the shop. Their prices are decent, and though their total drum selection might not be, they do have some interesting things. As far as sticks and heads are concerned, I'd go there every time. There's nothing like hand written receipts and dudes with practice pads.
