Bella Bridal Shoppe

I purchased my wedding dress and bridesmaids from Bella in January and I have to say it was by far the best experience of the entire wedding process. Her staff was courteous (no other bridal shop had three girls attending to me at once!) and Ramona the manager was great. She pulled out dresses within my price range and did not push any particular style, choosing to let me feel comfortable in the gown. Finally, I found the one and I couldn't wait to walk down the aisle in it (07/04/09). I can't thank the girls at Bella enough for making my bridal experience memorable.

I'd been waiting to write a lot of reviews until my blood stopped boiling whenever I think about it, while that hasn't happened, I think it's important for people to hear about this terrible store and it's monster owner.

I chose this shop to buy my dress at despite the fact that my dress was at two other bridal shops because I liked the customer service Ramona gave (who I had thought was the owner.) Whenever I had to deal with anyone else, a mistake was made. You could bet money on it, they didnt even know how to run a credit card w/out Ramona. Ramona ended up leaving towards the end of my experience to have her baby, that's when things got really bad.

I cant fit all the details but it was one mistake after another. From ordering my dress too short, to adding an extra bridesmaid to my order. To misleading me about being able to leave my dress there, then trying to make me take it home all wrinkled! I could write for days.

Three days before my wedding, I went in to pick up my dress and the owner, Jeff was there. He pulled me to the side like a child and starting screaming at me. Saying that I wasn't leaving there with my dress (FULLY PAID FOR, by the way) until I apologized to his staff. I lost it. I had nothing to apologize for. But honestly, even if I did, I am not his child that he can demand an apology from. I was his customer who not only purchased my expensive dress, but 6 Bridesmaids dresses and a flower girl dress. He owed me the respect that a person in business should give to a customer. Or a person should give to a person for that matter.

He scared me, hes tall and was in my face. I felt intimidated and completely caught off guard by this monster. I ended up screaming at him, grabbing my dress and running out of there. It was awful. Had I not had to go to work and worry about my wedding that was in 3 days, I would have gone to police station to file a complaint against him.
Side note: my girls dresses were all altered wrong. My bustle was very wrong.

If you are looking for individual attention, high quality bridal products/dresses, and outstanding customer service: Go to Bella Bridal. Keep in mind, they take one bride at a time and appointments only. There are dress from $500 to $5,00+ There are a variety of lines and styles. I purchased my dress, veil, shoes and jewelry there. The dresses were really amazing. Ramona did not push me to a certain style or dress. She read my body language and listened to what I didn't like about a dress from the fabric, to the dress style, to what I wanted. My final dress was under 1k. You don't have to spend a lot to look like a princess!
