Jae H Kim Tae Kwon Do Inst

I've frequented a number of Taekwondo schools before I started training at Master Kim's. I've currently been at this school longer than I've been at any other Taekwondo school. You will find instruction here like no where else. There are so many options for people who come in. Sparring, forms, endurance classes, competition team, a demonstration team, etc. There is Friday night sparring, which includes elements of boxing and grappling as well as offense and defense training.

The school has weight machines and treadmills if you want to focus on other aspects of fitness. Their facilities are extremely large - the largest you'll find anywhere. The environment is also very social. You'll make friends for life.

Grandmaster Kim teaches classes every day of the week. He is very kind and loves each one of his students. The instructors are such a great help and want you to do well. Mr. Hwang is so nice and loves kids. I have never seen kids so happy as when he is teaching! He also runs the competition team and they do crazy endurance training after the other classes are through. If you're looking for a really good workout, that's the way to go.

This is definitely Taekwondo at its best!

Both the instructors and your fellow students are very friendly, and the school is large. Not only do they dozens of classes throughout the day, but you can work out on your own by using their kicking bags or weight equipment. They offer the full range of Tae Kwon Do instruction and have even recently added yoga. The only downside is that it can be expensive to be a member, especially after paying for sparring equipment. However, the price is really no worse than a regular gym membership.
