Devlins is awesome. I had a great time on their patio this past Sunday night. The food was delicious, the atmosphere is beautiful, and our server was great..... she was really sweet, very efficient, not mention her knowledge of the menu. Thanks Devlins for a great dinning experience!!!!!!

Excellent food and friendly service in a very comfortable atmosphere....Enjoyed 2 cocktails on their outdoor patio....Recommend arriving early for patio service as it is very busy and fills up quickly on nice nights.

I?m a big fan, I go to here all the time. Great food ( I always try the special) Great Service, Good music on Friday and Saturdays. And the Patio is one of the chilliest places around the city. Two thumbs up!

We had a party at devlins it was my sisters 30th and i wanted it to go just right and the staff at devlins did just that, i was very nervous i never planned a party before i will do it again here the staff were very kind and always were very attentive the dj played great music

I came to devlins on Friday night it was very nice, i feel like i have to tell everyone about the patio that they have.( the waterfall, outside bar ) the atmosphere was very good with light music in the back round. We had the pork and mixed salad it was very good the service was excellent and friendly i will be back

5 or 6 choices for each course, sub-gourmet prep, huevos rancheros was one of the better ones I've had in the city. Killer bloody marys. Clean dark wooden high chairs and tables, easy fast ride on the 57 bus from allston or brighton. I would definitely recommend it! Our waiter was very attentive, they weren't too packed around1 pm.

Once again, Devlin's has outdone themselves with their summer menu, patio and great, friendly staff. We had dinner on the patio recently and everything was terrific! Devlin's is a great place to go for brunch, lunch, dinner or just for cocktails on the patio!!

I go to Devlin's nearly every weekend and find the atmosphere is always good.
The service has always been excellent and the food is great. I was on the patio last weekend for drinks and appetisers. I will always frequent this efficient upbeat restaurant!

After discovering Devlin's last summer, I have not been able to stay away! It's a great place to chill out after a long day at work, bring friends, bring a date, etc.
Their pizza is the best; crispy, thin crust, just the right amount of cheese and toppings. Yum! Also, the salmon is delicious! I have copied it at home several times since it appeared on the new-ish summer menu.
The patio is fantastic, too. It's a nice little escape from the city. There is even a bar!!! It's great to be able to sit outside and have a drink or two at the bar and not have to order food.
So, if you haven't already been there, I suggest you go check it out. You will be pleasantly surprised at what you find.

Oh my God! Whoever has been keeping this place a secret should be shot. Went for brunch here with my dad on Sunday morning and it was AMAZING. Got the most amazing Irish breakfast. My dad had some egg benny thing not sure of the name but it tasted like heaven. And we had the most delicious Bloody Marys ever. (They made morning drinking seem even bolder!!) The only pity was that the patio wasn't open due to the weather. But I intend to be back!

I am a proffesional who lives in Boston and loves to eat out! I also love trivia but hate the usually sports bar trivia blah. I finally found a tuesday night place that I can bring friends and have some fun. I enjoy going to nice places with good food, friendly staff, and prices that don't hurt the wallet, but I hate throwing the my money away on cheap pub grub. Devlins is a breath of fresh air from the norm. I feel comfortable meeting friend or dates for dinner or drinks there and like to try different apps and dinners on the menu, the steak I had the other night was awesome and love this spicy chicken pasta dish, (I forget the name) but it rules! The servers were on the ball and were attentive and cool.

I totally love this place. If you havent been you should really check it out. Great food, great ambiance, and the patio out back is something to experience. I think there may be more seating outside than in, and it looks like they are in the final stages of building a full bar out there. Sunday's are especially cool because they offer a incredible brunch, and they have a live jazz band out on the patio. You need to experience Devlin's for yourself. I'm a huge fan, and a regular there. See you on the patio!!

I LOVE Devlin's! I eat there all the time (more since the patio opened) and absolutely love it!! The staff is super friendly, the food is super fresh and delicious, and the ambiance is SUPER ;) I come with a friend or a group and they are always very accomodating and efficient.

Don't go to the beer Garden...they have a terrible beer selection, the food is nasty and they offer the WORST SERVICE EVER!!! Devlin's is the place to be in Brighton.

My friends and I had such a good time here. Our waitress was really friendly and attentive, and we all really enjoyed our meals. I ordered the short rib special which was fantastic! We had been there before to sit on the patio and will definitely be back. Devlin's is one of our favorities!

I love this restaurant...the food, decor, and outdoor patio, but there is one waitress who has served me on numerous occasions and she's always miserable!!!!! She rarely smiles, doesn't like to be asked questions, and is pushy about buying drinks. My friends and I have always tipped her well anyway, we're never too demanding or annoying, so this unfriendly service is undeserved. I have never experienced such a cold, unfriendly server and find it very unprofessional. We love eating out here but when she's our waitress, her bad attitude spoils our night. All of the other waitresses we've had have been personable, however.

Great place! went for brunch, and was severed fast. Nice waitress. And even a band playing in the computer! The food was good and fast. What more can you ask for? Definitely recommend the brunch. A great place to take a date, or family

Typically I am not a fan of Valentines Day. However, my boyfriend took me out to dinner at Devlin's and boy was I impressed. The restaurant was decorated so romantically with rose petals and candles with a rose for each lady. Our server was very good, offering wonderful suggestions for dinner and wines to accompany our choices. The banana chocolate chip bread pudding was to die for. Overall I loved this place and would love to go back, even if it is not Valentine's Day!!!

I was at Devlins Last Weekend. The staff were very friendly and the service was impeccable. The food was really good we started off with the soup cream of red bell pepper it was fab. Then we had the steak and chicken kiev it was very tasty. the place its self is very very clean and the decor is really cool. After dinner we went over to the bar side and it was very busy nice athmospher the lighting is what gives this place its unique ambiance,ill be back again and again i really highly recommended this place for a good night out.

I really thought this place was great. Me and my girlfriend went for my birthday. The crab cakes were awesome, wine was good, and fish was great. The only complaint that I have is that the pork chop I had was very dry, but no one is perfect. I would definatly recommend this place for a date or just as a place to get a good meal with great staff.

Devlins has a very interesting and elegant decor. The restaurant is divided into two equal halves. Both have bar sections, but one side has more of a bar/lounge atmosphere, and the other almost feels like a French restaurant. Then there is the patio which is well kept and clean. Unlike most patios in Boston, it is an enclosed area protected from the noise of the street AND it has a small fountain. The ambiance in the restaurant and the patio, make it a very pleasant place to eat.

I'm thinking that this place doesn't pay their management well. Although the decore and service were OK, it just felt chaotic from beginning to end. AND THEN THERE WERE THE MARTINI'S FROM HELL. The very bored bartender was underpouring to the point that my husband and I were watching him and laughing. My cosmo was like cool-aid..the espresso martini's (which they used to do very well..) was a white russian with extra milk. Yuk, and no thanks. If you like to feel respected, go somewhere else. We left without eating...didn't even want to GO THERE...

Devlins is a rare gem in Brighton featuring 2 separate bar areas, dinning area with great window seats, and a gorgeous patio out back complete with waterfall, ambient lighting, and heaters. The bar staff (Shamie, Stuart, and Brian especially) are excellent and make wonderful martinis from their unique list. Try the espresso martini or the mojito. The food is excellent and management has done a great job of updating the menu; there is also a bar menu served until 11pm or 12pm. Much has changed since CitySearch has reviewed the place and Ive never seen anyone dance. The DJ spins house music after 10 @ nights and theres never a line; the bouncers are nice unobtrusive guys. A very sophisticated but laid back place. Perfect for a romantic date, diner with the parents or an after-work gathering with colleagues. Things can get very busy which makes the atmosphere even better!

Devlin's has really improved since CitySearch reviewed it. The menu has been streamlined and food is much more consistent (consistently good). In addition, they've removed the bakery side of the restaurant, and replaced it with a great bar/lounge.
