Excellent automotive diagnosis and repair, plus great customer service. While I was having work done, the owner was calling to arrange a rental car for a customer. I highly recommend taking your car to Brookline Foreign Motors\r

If you want honest, reliable and quality work performed for the best price around, by the nicest - anywhere - look no further. Go to Brookline Foreign Motors.

I bashed in my side view mirror, and realized how very necessary that one

I brought my car for a second opinion to these guys because my friend works across the street from the garage and said they always look like they have a lot of work. Also, I found online that the reviews were good. I used to take my car to

So I don't usually write reviews because I am rarely surprised or overly impressed with service in Boston. \r
I moved to Boston 2 years ago with a 4 year old Toyota Highlander. I just started to work as a nurse in the longwood area,

I HAVE BEEN A STEADY CUSTOMER OF BROOKLKINE FOREIGN MOTORS FOR THE PAST 20 YEARS AND DURING THAT TIME I HAVE HAD TO AVAIL MYSELF OF ALMOST EVERY TYPE OF MECHANICAL SERVICE A REPAIR SHOP CAN OFFER

CALL IT NEW ENGLAND THRIFT OR JUST PLAIN STUBBORNNESS BUT I TEND TO KEEP A CAR MUCH LONGER THAN IS PRACTICAL AND WHEN THE INEVITABLE REPAIRS WERE NECESSARY, RAMI (AND NOW FEDERICO) HAVE HELPED ME BY KEEPING THE REPAIRS AS REASONABLE AS POSSIBLE AND DOING EVERYTHING POSSIBLE AS PROFESSIONALLY AS A DEALER COULD AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, AT A MORE REASONABLE RATE.

WHEN A PERSON NEEDS REPAIRS DONE TO THEIR CAR, IT IS USUALLY NOT AT A CONVENIENT TIME, BECAUSE OF WORK OR FINANCIAL PROBLEMS, (IS IT EVER?) SO THE UNDERSTANDING AND COOPERATION THAT EVERYONE AT THIS REPUTABLE SHOP HAS DEMONSTRATED ARE BY THEMSELVES ENOUGH FOR ME TO RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE WHO WANTS GOOD SERVICE AT REASONABLE RATES.

Hi, my name is David, i have a VW passat 03 , i used to go to the dealer cause of my warranty. But when the warranty expired and the car demanded new brakes i when to the dealer again and the price was So expensive!!, that really scared me. They where very nice, and a guy (technician i think his name is Larry or something like that) he recommended me Brookline Foreing Motors, they used original parts and back up what they do and they are cheaper . So i called them, made an appoitment to the next day, i brought my car the next morning, the finished the same day ( that was a nice surprice for me, cause the dealer usually take 2 or 3 days) and they charged me almost $300 less. Higly recommended, good service, fast and definitly cheaper than the dealer

we have moved to the area 3 years ago. we looked for a good, professional and honest place to take our cars: our friends recommended Brookline Foriegn Motors, Rami and Fede welcomed us to their "family" and since then we have recommended them to all our co-workers in the hospital and to our friends.
I suggest to all of you, that if you wish not to pay dealer prices and still get great service to try them, like we did.
keep going guys, you are great !!
thank you.

I have an audi a6. i took my car there for a second opinion for bent valves in my engine because the first place i went to suggested that i replace the engine. i went here thinking that this was an honest indy shop but boy was i wrong. they first told me that they needed to place the timing belt and water pump on my car (which i supplied them) to get the car running and to hear the engine to see how it sounds. i agreed to that service so that way they can see the problem. so they called me and said that they but the parts on but the engine was stuck and they opened the cylinder head and saw that there are bent valves in the engine causing the engine not to work. So basically they wanted to charge me $800 for a job that they didnt have to do. from the moment i first spoke to the guys there, frederick and rami, i told them that the other place told me that there were bent valves and that i was looking for a second opinion to see if i need a new engine, or if the cylinder head can be rebuild with new valves. I refused to pay because basically they charged me for service that they knew wouldnt solve my problem to my car. when i went in the morning to tow my car, my engine was in shambles. everything was disconnected. and to top it off, the timing belt and water pump which i supplied them, was never put on the car. everything was still in its box, perfectly wrapped in the plastic bags. basically what they did was sit around, open the cylinder head, saw that there were bent valves, and was going to try to tell me that after they put the belt and water pump on and it didnt start, they needed to take it back off in order to open the head. and they never even did the job that they were charging me for in the first place. i wish i could post pictures so you guys out there can see what these people did to my car. its a shame and its time that all of these shady indy shops learn a lesson. Its so funny that i originally went to this shop because i thought they were good people.

When I first bought my 2004 SAAB 9-5 I was a religiously took the car to the dealer for service and repair. But when my AC and transmission started making trouble I decided that this time I would shop around instead of paying the exuberant dealer prices. I took my car to a place I pass by everyday on the way to work in Brookline- right down the street from the Longwood medical area. I dropped it off at 8am to get an estimate and took the T to work (just across the street) but it was raining and the manager insisted an employee give me a ride so I wouldn?t get wet! 1 hour later the office manager called and gave me detailed estimate and explained (in simple automotivly-challenged language) what was wrong. He categorized the repair/ services into ?must be done? and ?should be done? and gave me the option to wait with some services that could be done later in the year instead of making me believe everything was completely urgent. He also faxed me the breakdown and I called the dealer to get an estimate for the same work. The dealer quoted $1900 more than Brookline Foreign Motors and they were both going to use genuine parts with the same guarantee!!!! Needless to say, I have been a loyal customer ever since and I HIGHLY recommend them for ALL and ANY automotive service and repair. (p.s their website has great coupons! www.brooklinemotors )
