They are one of the very best auto service facilities in the Pioneer Valley. Honest and professional, their shop is clean, well organized and employ very knowledgeable techs. Over the past ten years we have brought our family's BMW, VW, Toyota and Subaru to them and have had no complaints about their work.
My son car broke down on a Saturday night, had the towing company (Reds) tow the car to a auto service and they recommended Walts Brothers. Well I have to say I thought I was in for a ride of my life, turned out to be one of the most pleasant surprises. They took care of the car in a very timely fashion and did it without killing the bank. One of the best surprises. The car is running great and I could not be happier.
Poor customer service
Poor technique
The problem they couldn't figure out for ONE MONTH,
went to Honda dealer, took care of it in ONE HOUR.
Never calls you back (I have been to this place several times, I have never received a single call saying "it's all-set"). I always had to wait all day long waiting for their calls and finally had to call them 10 mins to check before they closed and they said "It's already all-set." Hoping to call me to inform my car is all-set is too much for these guys?
Never heard "Sorry" even though they couldn't find the problem, Never called me back, so I had to wait 1 month. (of course I called them frequently during that month)
Who's going to reimburse my time&effort living without a car for a MONTH? for god's sake. I hope there's no victim like me anymore. Thanks to this place, I don't go to auto repair shops other than certified dealers.

It took me three visits to Walts Brothers to realize they are just as bad as other rip off repair shops. First time $1100 to change timing belt, a week later $450. to change spark plug cables and heating plug. Two weeks (year after) I took my Passat and they charged me $180 to replace my antifreeze container. Sure enough my car starting making noise and having a weird oil smell. Took it back and they estimated $450. for front brakes and $480 for fixing the oil leak and they still had no idea if that would fix the problem. I asked them not to repair anything and had a friend look at it, only to find out that the noise was due to no power steering fluid and front brakes and rotors changed for a total of $300 which included parts and labor. Never again would I take my car back to them or refer them to friends.

Joe Walts was once a neighbor of ours and we used his car service all the time for many years. The service was always friendly and fairly priced. I never felt that we were sold anything we didn't need , which is my pet peeve with car repair places. They always did a fine job and left he car neat and clean, too.
These guys are all awesome! They know their customers by name and car!
They take the time to really explain the problems and let you know if it is something that you HAVE to have done or if it is something that can wait. They are NEVER pushy and their labor prices are fair.
This is also a GREEN garage! They recycle everything they can!
We have been faithful customers for years and would highly recommend them to anyone!
My girlfriend brought her Passat to Walts for various things. One of them was a pesky check engine light which Fathers and Sons couldn't fix. Steve, the "VW guy", fixed the car before lunch and made it sound like it was a breeze. Said he had the parts in stock. I highly recommend Walts Brothers. I'll never again go to a dealer and get jerked around again.
Pros: Done right, good price, friendly, fast.
