I have known Dr. Fowles for over ten years. He has been the main caregiver for all my pets. When our family dog was treated for heart worm disease by another doctor, it almost killed him. Our dog nearly died with "modern treatment." Dr Fowles saved our dog through tradtional and common sense medical treatment. He has provided nothing but great care and wonderful support knowing we nealry lost our family pet. Our large old dog finally succumbed to old age at nearly 15 years! Dr. Folwes added 5 years to the life of our dog.

I worked for Dr. Fowles several years ago, and he is NOT out of touch. Also, his staff is anything but unprofessional! Just because someone was wearing jeans, as a vet tech, does make them unprofessional. I know PLENTY of veterinarians who wear jeans! That has nothing to do with the knowledge of the staff.

My experience was not a good one. This Vet was probably good in his day but he seems a bit out of touch with modern techniques and medicines. I did not have a good gut feeling. His staff was not professional either. I'm paying good money for professionals and not someone dressed in her boyfriend's blue jeans. The Vet may be OK for basic vaccines but he did not seem willing to take diagnostics the next step. I believe this may be due to the fact that he is not familiar with the latest techniques. I felt sorry for this man.

I have brought all of my pets throughout the years to Dr. Fowles at Westfield Animal Clinic and I can say without a doubt he and his crew are the absolute BEST!
I had a large dog some years ago that encountered a porcupine in the middle of the night and Dr. Fowles met my father there to take care of him. Most other vets would have sent us to Springfield.
They're compassionate, professional and friendly, to both pet and owner.

we found Dr. Fowes relied on his experience and not just high tech tests to treat our ill cat. We were able to getin same day with no wait which is nice.

We just switched to Westfield Animal Clinic several months ago. We are very happy with their services so far. The prices are reasonable. The workers are knowledgeable, we have called several times with questions and they are great about offering their advice. The office is very clean, dogs and cats are separated upon entering which is kind of nice. They are not open every day which can be a problem if you really need help.

Dr. Fowes had no bedside manner toward any of my pets.
He's a good animal doctor, but not a very nice one.
The techs are pretty nice though.I have now found a much nicer doctor at Montgomery rd.
