Good massage, trashy atmosphere
by Anonymous
This place is great for massage, but the asthetics of the place are horrible- borderline white trash. Massages are excellent however, and a good price. You are treated well, the staff are amazingly friendly, etc.
This is a place to go if you want a good massage, but not if youre looking for the spa experience. Zen and tranquil is totally not the word to describe this place, it looks like a yard sale threw up in there.

This is the Best Place to Be!!

I just love this place---Best in Mass.---Always great service, best hydraulic massage tables, heating pads & comp aromatherapy. Every time I've visited they also gave me a free, take home package/goodie bag. All the female therapists are the best at deep tissue massage. Their pedicures can not be matched anywhere--2 full hours long, with free pedi package, to go! Julie A.

relaxing and invigorating
by Jim C.
Each Christmas, my children give me a gift certificate for Back to Basics. They live in California and consequently consider themselves connoisseurs of alternative therapies. They say that Back to Basics --when it comes to massage-- is: "The Best." I agree. Now and again, I take myself there and proclaim Christmas in July or August or . . .

This is such a wonderful place to go and splurge on yourself. The staff is excellent. Very well trained. Their prices are very reasonable. You always feel welcome. Everyone is so friendly. The rooms are very clean and relaxing. This place really knows how to set the mood and help loosen you up. Their technique is wonderful and leaves you feeling refreshed for days.

Such a cute place!
Super friendly staff!
I got a massage here and wow, what a great experience! The place is small and homey... the table I received my massage on was covered in pillows and soft blankets. They covered me with even more pre-heated blankets (they will ask you if you'd like this addition- free, of course) and they even had aromatherapy and you get to pick the scent(s)!
Even though I only got a 60 min massage, she went at least 15 min longer to finish up, which really impressed me. She was really comfortable with her work, too, which you could feel through her hands.
They offer a HUGE range of services and very good prices. Also, check out their website for coupons!!
PROS: great massages, nice, homey touches, 100% relaxing
CONS: parking

HORRIBLE!!!
by anonymous02169
The place is extremely cluttered. The pedicure I received by Yvonne was atrocious. The massage part of it was great but the woman had absolutely no idea how to paint nails. I was embarassed by them and had to go straight to a nail salon to have them repainted. Would NEVER go there again
Cons: atmosphere is awful

The best professional massage facility, in Mass!
by evey1
My sister and I go to alot of different massage facilities, and this place is by far the best!
We've never been to a spa or healing facility that offers so many complimentary additions. Having had several treatments there, complimentary aromatherapy (every time), refreshments, paraffin hand treatments, sea salt scrub samples, Biofreeze, Sombra, & referral gifts, are just some of the free-be's we've taken home. And their prices are much less that everywhere else.--And the staff are always so welcoming. I can't say enough on how wonderful our experiences have been, at Back To Basics. We give them the highest of ratings, out of any place!
Pros: inexpensive, free aromatherapy, professional
Cons: none
