Peacock Alley Hair Salon

The best kept secret in the North shore of Boston. I just recently moved here from LA and I looked at the "Best of Boston" for hair salons , and Donna at Peacock Alley had the best reviews. Since I live closer to Swampscott than Boston I decided to go to Donna for my highlights and cut. She is the first hairstylist that understands hair ...Period.... She gave me a little lesson in the science of hair color. I found it to be amazing about the ammonia content in most colors. If you are afraid to color your hair she is an EXPERT!!!! Needless to say I was thrilled with this amazingly gifted stylist. The salon was also professional and clean! NICE!

I went to Donna because of the reviews. My hair was an awful color and I was scared to have it colored again because It looked fried. I made a consultation with Donna At Peacock Alley and she spent a long while with me. After that I felt more confident to make an appointment. She gave me a beautiful color and cut. I love my new hair! Donna transformed my hair to a normal shiny beautiful color and gave me a smashing haircut. The best thing is that It looks great when I do my own hair. That is the true test. I am elated!

I go to Donna and have been very happy with her work as a hairdresser! I could not keep going to Newbury St. in Boston as I wanted to find a place more local. It is ironic how I found Donna. I met this women at a store downtown Boston. Her hair was kind of boho ... long and very cool waves. I had wanted that style for a long time but no one seemed to get it. To make a long story short the women was Donna's sister and had a store in Marblehead as well. She gave me Donna's card. I went to her in Salem and OMG! My hair is still long and looks amazing! Just what I was after. She also did my foil. What a find!!!!!

I love the way donna does my hair! She is a highly creative and caring hairstylist that loves her work... and it shows! I am very satisfied for the first time ever!!!! Donna is consistently great! I get bored very easily with my hair and she is constantly coming up with new and creative cuts and color for me. I like the fact that she goes to above and beyond to make my hair look amazing. No matter how long it takes or whatever the challenge is, Donna is capable of anything. I love that she says "the spirits guide me" I believe that because she works miracles!

I went to Donna at Peacock Alley. I went to see Donna after reading the reviews and was very happy with the way she did my hair. She gave me a great cut and I am extremely picky! I highly recommend her if you are looking for a highly skilled hairdresser!
