Terrible restaurant. Wait a very long time for your seat, and greeted by a very loud abrasive host. We were stacked extremely close to other tables. Our server didn't give us any type greeting. We ordered off the pre fix meal. The food and drinks were very very slow to get to the table. Our apps arrived before our drinks. The drinks were pathetically small and way over priced. During dinner I saw the owner berate one of his staff members in front of all his guests. He looked like such a jerk, it was enough to make me never go into any of his restaurants again never mind the tiny portions terrible drinks and seating conditions. Later on our sever told us that the owner is so broke and angry that he didn't even have a Christmas party for his staff, UNREAL!!!

Our entrees finally arrived the food was good nothing special but the portions were tiny and I had lost 5 lbs. waiting for it to get to the table. our desserts were also rabbit sized. When we left we were standing at the door. The owner that sat us and pretended to be so nice tried to seat us again, he didn't even remember greeting us. He was so fake it was really disturbing. as we left he thanked us for our business, "Thnak you, thank you for eating here" like he was about to go broke. The guy owns 6 restaurants, he is ROLLING in money!!! Seemed so desperate what is going on in that place?!!! Where was that nice blond hostess that used to work there??!!

My husband and I have been going to Spoleto's since the early 90's. We love the atmosphere and the food is to die for. Our children like to sit where you can see the chefs through the glass preparing meals. When I was pregnant I craved their roasted red peppers, olives, capers and garlic appetizer - yum!

The seating is tight and loud atmosphere but the food is very good. The servers a friendly! It is probably not a place to take kids. The prices are a bit high but the food it worth it. It also has outside eating.

We enjoyed Spoleto's Restaurant recently. The wait was minimal even for Saturday night. The food was excellent, as was the service. The casual dining atmosphere is welcome after a long day of shopping in Northampton.

Spoleto is a great spot for creative Italian fare. The fillet BLT was outstanding. The portion was a good size and was cooked to perfection. Service was attentive and professional. Friday and Saturday nights can be crowded and noisy and reservations are not accepted. Salads and sides are a la carte and can be a bit pricey.

After having been away from Spoleto Restaurant for about a year and a half, I found the place had changed; for the worse!
Service was slow to say the least and the food was lukewarm. The clams were not fresh as they smelled very fishy.
The good part was we could converse with our friends.
"Back in the day," the staff was friendly, service was fast and the food was fresh and served hot.
Maybe that's what happens when you start opening "satellite" restaurants!

Pros: Central location

Cons: No Parking

Inconsistant. There are better restaurants around. Sometimes you get a good meal, sometimes you wonder what their doing.
Noisy place and very busy.
