Ledges Golf Club

I play a lot of golf on many different courses, and I think The Ledges just might be the best golfing value between Brattleboro and Hartford. The condition of the tees, fairways, and greens is excellent, especially for a public course. Also, the rates are very reasonable, and the course layout is scenic and challenging, but very fair. The layout has a great mix of holes that I simply never get tired of playing, I especially like the way the greens were designed. Now that they have the new clubhouse (the food is great, by the way) the experience is all that much better. I tell every golfer I meet that the The Ledges is like playing a top notch Vermont resort course, only at 1/4 the price! Play this course once, and you will want to go back again, and again.

I have taken a Women's golf lesson series here for a couple of years. The instructors are always nice and informative and it's a great place to go after work to hit a bucket of balls. I was impressed with the grounds and the staff.

This golf course is the best in Western Mass (my opinion) and very reasonably priced. Although it's 1/2 hour from where I live, we have gone there a dozen times this year. I would highly recommend this course
