Giacomo's Restaurant

What is there not to love about this italian dining spot. The food is incredibly fresh. We had take out from here & the sauce was incredibly light. I highly recommend going here to dine, but be prepared to wait.

Pretty good restaurant but not as good as the hype. There is always a line outside of this place - the food is good but with all the other amazing restaurants in the North End I would prefer not to wait in line.... especially on a cold winter night. This place is cash only.

This is the best Italian restaurant you will ever find outside of Italy! The entire menu is amazing and the prices are extremely reasonable. The butternut squash is their specialty but their specials tend to always surprise...in a good way. The wine list is great and again, very reasonably priced. The best part of this location (there is one in the North End as well) is that they take reservations - and you'll definitely need one. I consider this to be my favorite restaurant of all time. I refer clients here all the time and I've never had anyone come back disappointed.

Most everyone seems to head to Boston's North End in search of good Italian food but the South End is fortunate to have Giacomo's among the list of excellent neighborhood restaurants. Given the cost of other South End restaurants, Giacomo's can seem quite reasonable. The atmosphere inside is cozy and inviting and the food doesn't disappoint. Expect a line if you haven't called ahead or made reservations.
