Not only do I second the other five-star reviews but I'd like to speak for how astute Mike is as a referral source for completely different needs. On the wall in his tiny front office is a bulletin board of business cards, of not just anyone with a thumbtack but of _recommended_ service providers of all kinds. We were being railroaded in a home insurance case, by the insurer's choice of "experts," and it was Mike who told us of honest and competent experts to go to bat on our side.

Simply the best!

This is the *BEST* place to go in the area. Not only is Mike honest, but he knows how to work within a budget. He has kept my daughter's Neon alive for at least 3 years more than it deserved. As a college student her budget was pretty slim!

don't go anywhere else

Mike is great! he we get creative in order to fix your car in order to keep costs to a minimum. i was in the auto repair business for over 4 years and not once ever came across a place that runs like Long Life Auto. Mike could make a lot more money if he wanted to, no doubt, but for whatever reason he decides to run a honest shop.... possibly because he is a honest guy. I will never go anywhere else.

Friendly and Honest

I've been having my car serviced at Long Life for 8+ years now and I been consistently pleased with the quality of service they provide. They are willing to patiently explain the problems and I have never felt as though trust was an issue. They have gone above and beyond on more than a few occasions and Mike Bundy, a Master Mechanic and the owner, is a quality individual. If you try them, you won't be disappointed.

Mike and Long Life are the best

I have been bringing my cars to Mike and Long Life Auto for 10 years now. Mike is always very professional and HONEST. The one time they did a faulty repair, they routed an emergency brake cable past the rear axle, I did not know this. When the cable failed Mike told me that they had made the mistake and replaced the cable AND the axle for free! He replaced the latter because the cable had dug into it a bit. He's helped me in a number of pinches and I find his rates reasonable. An honest mechanic, who would have thought it!

If you are looking for a good place to fix your car this is the place. the people there are very professional ready to answer any question you have. I am very satisfy over the years (6) with the overall experience there

My husband recommended Long Life Auto to me after my car needed possibly $2000 of work according to the dealer. They did the work for much less money, and told me about some other things I should be aware of.
My husband swears by this place, and I'll admit that I found them to be great. THey clearly explained problems, offered a realistic time line, had competitive pricing and were very helpful overall.

Best Auto Repair in Greater Boston

I highly recommend Long Life Auto. Mike, the owner, is professional and courteous. He is also committed to helping customers to understand their cars as well as their repair options. I came to Mike with my old Camry because the Toyota dealer was trying to sell me on a series of very expensive repairs. Mike let me know which repairs were urgent, and which were not. I have visited Long Life Auto several times, and I have been impressed by the quality and value of every repair. The name of the business says it all!

I have mixed reviews about this place. It came highly recommended by people I trust but I was really disappointed in the results. I spent $230 to replace two front shock absorbers and that did not solve the problem with my car.
I came in at 9:15am today and had to wait until 1:30pm before the car was "fixed."
It was a really frustrating day. Mike was nice but i was disappointed that after all that time and money, I still had the same problem.
