Other Side Cafe

I love going to The Other Side Cafe with my friends. It's an awesome place to hang out and the food is great. We always order the fruit and cheese plate when we go and their tea is wonderful. Since the upper-level was re-opened, there are plenty of places to sit. The atmosphere is unpretentious and there is always great music playing (ranging from The Stone Roses to Led Zeppelin). The staff is friendly too. I would recommend this place to anyone.

A favorite place to go for some fresh and delicious foods! Very casual and laid-back with a super cool atmosphere. Theres a fantastic upstairs that over-looks the main floor and additional seating outside. Try one of the million types of green tea or Italian soda combinations! The cheese and fruit plate is great too! An awesome place for lunch or ultra relaxed dinner.

I remember a few years ago the otherside had a funky sky and cloud patterned ceiling and those wierd neon light bulbs that distort your sense of coloration. Those days are gone, but the food is still pretty tasty. Very stylish and relaxing atmosphere with seating downstairs and upstairs away from the hustle of newbury. Try the raspberry lime rickey and the vegetarian chilli.

PROS: tasty, relaxing, vegetarian options
CONS: kind of pricey

This hip cafe serves awesome food. Try the Fruit and Cheese platter. You won't be disapointed. Excellent vegetarian selection as well. They have a great beer selection and if you buy a pitcher you get free chips and salsa (but you have to ask). The salsa is out of this world! Plus, they're always rocking out to great music.
