I had a bad impression of this business 10 yrs ago and was pleased when I re-visited recently and found it to be neater with a really great selection of window treatments. During my purchase, I asked the salesperson if it was returnable if it didn't work--I recall her saying "keep your receipt or you might just get store credit". This seemed reasonable to me, but I was SHOCKED when I had to make a partial return 2 days later and was told their practice is "merchandise credit only". I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT! I found the sales help totally unreasonable and the owner was "unavailable" to discuss the matter...I'm surmising from this experience--and the other reviews I'm now readin-- that they must work on commission. BEWARE OF DOING BUSINESS HERE unless you are totally willing to live with your initial out-of-pocket expense. I'm sitting on a $170 credit with great hesitation in going back. Unfortunately, their website doesn't mention this little rule, either!

The reviews that are awful must be
mostly from along time ago....I know from experience that the staff is very helpful. I know that it is very busy on Saturdays but if you need lots of help during the week they will spend much needed time with the customers......I have ordered things and they come in in good time and the place is much more organized then in the past.

Went in with my daughter who was looking for a Roman Shade. When we spoke with the woman who could price it, she sent us to look for the book (didn't have time to look for it herself) once she heard it was only one window. After searching through several books, we finally found the Roman Shade sample book. Once my daughter selected a fabric, we stood at the desk and were ignored. The other salesperson (who at least tried, but did not know how to price it), finally reminded our saleperson that we were waiting for a price. She answered, "it's only one window, I don't have time." Needless to say, we took our business elsewhere. Never experienced such a rude customer experience! Would not recommend.

I am not sure where to start. Product-wise, really almost second-to-none. This place has window treatments for every budget, and recently introduced an "Item of the Week" that sells for $5.00 or less. I have purchased numerous items from this store, and have had my share of frustration with ordering, returning, and buyers remorse. However, I can't fault the staff entirely. While there are some very talented professional women who work here, there are also a few unprofessional people as well. Unfortunately, one of the most unprofessional is the owner himself. Not only have I had to personally endure what can only be described as temper tantrums, first via phone when I asked to speak with him about a problem, and then in person, but I have also witnessed him dress down other customers and employees without any awareness of those around him, or seemingly any remorse. His sales people are his bread and butter, and when he sets the example to "yell" at customers or his workers...why should they care, and apparently they don't! My favorite salesgirls have either already left or are leaving, and because of that I will no longer shop Curtain Time. Buyer beware the owner does not apply the addage of "The customer is always right". The product is there, but the service is not, and this customer for one, will take my business elsewhere.

If you need curtains or window treatments of any kind, this is the place to go. They have a huge selection to fit every window need. The staff is warm, friendly, helpful and professional. I needed curtains for almost every room of my new home. Armed with pictures, measurements, paint chips and ideas, I spent 4 hours at the store with May and Denisa. Between the 3 of us, we were able to take care of the entire house, right down to the matching pillows! They came to my home to meaure for shades, and helped me with selections. May labeled each swag, panel and rod as to what went where, and wrote it all down room by room, which was amazingly helpful. Much of my order has already arrived, and the rest is on schedule. I can't say enough good things about this place, and I would never consider anywhere else.

worst experience ever!!! From all the rotten reviews, sounds like this place has HORRIBLE customer service all the time and that my experience was not a fluke. Same old story - was told my curtains would be in on a certain date, date came and went, I called and was told I would get a call back, nobody ever called me back. I called back and finally got the manager on the phone who told me that I was 'harrassing him and his staff"!!!! I was nothing but nice to these people and was simply asking when my order would be in and was told "soon" or "not sure, we'lll call you back" and then finally I was told by one girl "you're all set" and when I asked what that meant the owner got on the phone an told me to stop harrassing them!!! It was only when I had my husband (an attorney) call back did the owner admit that he had screwed-up and forgotten to put my order in and was trying to stall me. He did end-up giving me a discount because he knew he was RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. The discount is the only reason I didn't call the Better Business Bureau on this place. OUTRAGEOUS.

Curtain Time is an amazing store, I've never seen anything like it. There are literally hundreds of curtains on display. The sales help are very friendly, willing to help even the most challenging customer like myself. I just bought a new home and I had 5 rooms to decorate. They spent an entire hour helping me choose the correct size curtains for my windows and their eye for color was perfect. I purchased about $500 worth of curtains, most of which I took with me. There were 6 panels that had to be ordered, but they arrived 2 weeks later with a friendly reminder call from Curtain Time. When I save a little money, I'm returning to by some Hunter Douglas blinds. The store is a true gem.

Hi, Today I visited Curtain Time and I'm so very glad I did. Their selection is amazing and many items can be purchased right away. I have a house of windows to fill and plan on returning to Curtain Time again soon to make selections for what is left. Prior to going to the store I read the negative reviews here and noted that there are NO negative complaints on the site for the BBB. After reading the reviews here, I went into the store with a preconceived notion that the sales people would be rude and I'm so glad they proved me wrong. I entered with all my color swatches and determined to find curtains. At no time during my visit was I pressured to purchase. The sales associates made wonderful suggestions and they weren't rude when I didn't like what they showed me. Also, over the few hours I was in the store, the owner was there actively assisting the staff and other customers. I found them all to be caring about the business and the service they provide. Further, I ended up saving hundreds of dollars covering my slider by not going custom and even though the sales associate had made several calls on my behalf she was as delightful as ever when I made my final money saving selection. All in all, even if my order runs late I had a wonderful experience at Curtain Time and would recommend them to anyone. They offer a wide selection of ready mades, have experienced friendly staff and reasonably priced custom orders.

Sales people are rude, arrogant and some are plain nasty. Their refund policy is terrible (even with receipts, they give you a real hard time with refunds...you have to see the owner, who is very rarely there). I've spent hundreds of dollars there, but no more. The attitude of the sales people totally turns me off.

I ordered two sets of curtains in mid-February and was told they would be in in two weeks. Three weeks went by and I did not hear from the store so I called and was told they were on back order and would be in in another week. Two more weeks went by, called again, this time the employee actually called the manufacturer and said (again) they would be shipped in a week. If I hadn't called they would not have contacted me. Now it's late March; I went into the store to cancel my order because the "week" is turning into early April. At that point I was told to come back the next business day (Monday) because "only the owner" could refund money. I will never do business there again and would never recommend the store.

I ordered a rail for my curtains, was told 2-3 days, it is now 2 weeks and still no rail. Everytime I called and asked about it I was told it should be in tomorrow.

The people who work at Curtain time will take the extra time you need to help you choose the curtain fabric that is best suited for your home decor. All curtain treatments can be customer order to any size you need. Short waiting time for finished products. Show room is large and fully stocked with kitchen curtains single rod,double rod. Bedroom window treatments,curtains,drapes, long floor length or short window sill length. They will order special fabrics from forgein countries for you.
