This is a great preschool program. The teachers are all excellent, my older son went here and I presently have a 4 year old enrolled here. Most of the teaching staff have been there for many years and have great patience and love for preschoolers. The teachers are easily accessible and friendly. The children go on several field trips throughout the year, they visit the Library, firehouse and the Children's Museum. Both of my children have enjoyed this program very much and I will send my 2 year old here as well when he gets older!

Ratings_icons Good Friendly Staff!

Two of my boys went to this school and both loved it! It was a great first school experience. The staff was excellent and went out of their way to help one of my boys get services he needed (speech). My only issue was that the cirriculum didn't transfer over so smoothly to public school. They did things differently (not bad, just different) at the Church of Atonement Nursery School as far as routines, learning styles and aides.

Ratings_icons Great Preschool, Exceptionally Caring Staff

My kids loved the afternoon classes, which were smaller and offered more personal attention. Staff showed us time and time again that they were very caring and patient with the children, and committed to quality. There were a wide of variety of activities based on monthly themes such as family and friends, seasons, space, and folk tales. Art, music, stories, physical exercise and free play activities each day. My kids especially enjoyed the field trips to local destinations. Accredited. Financial aid available.

There is no supervision, when our son attended he came home everyday with a new mark, scratch, or a sad story about how someone hurt him. When we spoke to the teacher she said without seeing the offense there was nothing she could do. Needless to say we pulled him out.

Church of the Atonement provided a small group preschool experience that kept the children engaged in a variety of activities. They took field trips to local farms and visited the local library and Firehouse. Children were given opportunities to make friendships and learn group skills. The experience proved to be very positive.
