Arlington Shell Auto Care

I've had a great experience at this gas station /repair shop ! The prices were very reasonable and the service was just excellent ( the owner gave me a ride home ) . I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a very good mechanic with honesty and great service !

How unfortunate that when my car wouldn't start I had it towed to this nearby mechanic instead of a garage I know and trust. (I have yet to find one I'm completely satisfied with.) They had my car a total of 4 business days, not once were they proactive in keeping me updated as to my car's status, and no concern for the fact that I was without a car for days.
Went to pick up my car and the bill was TWICE the amount I was originally quoted. This was without my permission.

This station is one of the worst examples of a small business owner who doesn't care about his customers I have ever seen. He will promise to make repairs same day, not call you back to mention that he can't do it, not give you the keys to your car back when you demand them, and finally give an inflated bill at the end. It took a few calls to a lawyer to sort this out and get the bill tossed, but I have one word - AVOID!

It is risky to go into this place without a good estimate of the repair. But if you know the rough estimate, this place provides good service and quality repair. This is a good place for low-cost repair. I like its staff and its good location. The special feature is their service area and waiting area are separated with good room for any activities.

When everyone's prices for gas are going through the roof, they are holding their own and are far below almost everyone else in town. They may not be a huge station, but they are very personable. They can generally get your car serviced and out pretty quickly. They are located on mass ave, so if you need to leave your car there, there is a bus stop right up the street. We bring our car there for service and gas frequently and this is a great station. The prices for autobody work are reasonable as well, especially for a station on a major route.
