I went to test drive a 2010 Camry. The salesperson took a copy of my drivers license. My husband was with me & followed him to the copy machine so I assumed my husband had my license & foolishly didn't ask him. He didn't & the next day when I called, Wayne said he gave it back to me but said he'd look for it. I knew he had it. 2 weeks later after I got a replacement license it showed up in the mail with no note, just in a Herb Chambers envelope. hmmm...very interesting. DON'T GO THERE.

Leased a new 2008 4-runner @ Herb for my wife, was looking for used at first, salesman neglected to tell me every used 4-runner they had on the lot was in a major accident..what a surprise!! When asked for carfax..he was a little hesitant on giving me info, had to pull teeth to get that out of him.
So we decided to get a new 2008 4-runner lease real beauty, sign papers go to pick it up about 5-6 days later, we show up @ dealer, salesman says..we only have one key for it..your kidding right? nope one key brand new SUV ..so I called my insurance company, they suggest not to take this brand new vehicle with one key, because a great chance for potential theft could occur, now they have my info, home address work address, and a missing key?? After about 1 1/2 hours searching for a key,the salesman had me drive him to a mall where they left the key from a display a month earlier, total wasted time at dealer 3 1/2 hours between hunting key, walk through of new vehicle..WoW!!
This was our worst new car purchase/lease experience
ever, after purchasing 7 new vehicles from other dealers the drive home was long and unpleasant. Once we
got home wanted to go over a few things with wife about the new SUV, so I popped the hood up..guess what I found? One of the service techs forgot to tighten the radiator cap back on.., anti -freeze all over the brand new engine compartment.. lets say I was so F@*%^#*G pissed at this point!
From start to end by far the worst experience ever!
Do yourself a favor shop somewhere else!

2005 Toyota Camry XLE, 17,075 miles. The harmonic equalizer became defective, causing problems with two belts among other things. The diagnosis of a certified mechanic in Paxton wasn't good enough: before the drive-train warranty would be honored, Chambers wanted to get me to sign to pay the tow to Auburn, a $99.00 diagnosis, and all repairs if their service said it really wasn't the harmonic equalizer and, thus, not covered by the warranty. Sorry - that's just another way to pick my pocket! And I've been haunted for months with mailings and phone calls to extend my warranty. Ha! Warning: beware! What good is a warranty that depends on the whims of their service department, particularly in this economic climate? Buy elsewhere!!!

I purchased a two years old Nissan Pathfinder in 2006 with only 34,166 miles in it and I purchased a service contract ($1,500) for 60 months, 100,000 miles that would cover everything except for wear and tear, with no deductible if I bring it for service back to Herb Chambers Toyota, but $200 deductible if I sent it to another dealer.
Now after two years from purchasing the car a service engine light came on and went to send it for service and they told me it's $200 deductible. I told them how the deal was, they said sorry but we can't help you this is how the contract was, this is how it is recorded in our system. But they said if you have a copy of the contract that says otherwise bring it in and we will fix it.
Now I will need to go over all the documents in my house to find the contract. Never thought that I would have to go through this with a reputable dealer like Herb Chambers Toyta as they would change the contract just to see if you fall for it.
After this experience I am truly saddened to say that I would never purchase a car from them again. Thank you.

My Scion died right after the warrenty was up...I don't recommend the brand. I love Toyota but Scion not so much.
I recently went in to buy another car. Sales people way too pushy, gave me an incomplete CarFax report and were rude once they had the sale. I pushed back and spoke to the management about Carfax report. The managers are Terrific and helped me out alot.
If only I could buy the CARS with the management staff!!!!
Service dept is great.

Not sure if i would go back here again. Pricing was the intial reason i purchased from here, but then service has repeatedly tried to steal with their outrageous costs. Be cautious!
