We just returned from Ocean Edge. We stayed in a one-bedroom condo. The condo was spacious, clean, and very convenient. It is also extremely affordable for all that you get. Check out the rates on cyberrentals. The grounds are impeccable. There were some negatives however. We ran into a very nasty worker who ordered my children (13 and 15) out of the hot tub (Fletcher pool, July 4th). He embarrassed them unnecessarily. They have a ridiculous rule not allowing anyone under 16 in the hot tub (which we didn't know about when we rented). Also, staying on the golf course side may seem nice, but we awoke each morning to lawn mowing. Also, the golfers are loud. Don't stay right on the course. Other than that, it was a great place- we would definitely return.

I stay at Ocean Edge with my family every summer because we have a cousin who owns a condo here. It is a wonderful place to stay but everything is so overpriced. Even people who own the condos have to pay a ridiculous fee for the pool. We go to the beach instead. I like the opportunity we get to stay here.

Ocean Edge is beautiful! On one side of the road is the conference center side, set back from the road are 2 beautiful old mansions. This is where they offer exquisite service for conferences. You can even rent them for a wedding. Stunning views, breathtaking decor! Down a ways, on the other side of the road is the resort side. Beautifully landscaped golf course, restaurant, in-ground pool, so much to do. They have several communities of condominiums for rental. Ocean Edge is a bit expensive, but worth treating yourself. Highly recommend.
