I have been going to Leonardo's for years upon years on and off. I have gotten a lot of cuts there and a couple of eye brow waxes. I just went today and got a great cut by Alison. She gave me so many helpful little tricks to style my hair. I have never really known what I want from my hair; I go into a salon hoping the stylist will tell me what would look good and why. I have gone there in the past with my timid request of "just an inch off and straightened, please," and they have done just that, which I have always appreciated. Today I knew I wanted something new, but i had no idea what. Alison worked with my ideas and gave me further suggestions based on my face shape, hair temperment and fall. She was great. The other stylists I have had there were good too I just can't remember their names :-/ They take their time on each client.
I have also gotten a lot of nice thank yous and gifts from them in the mail.
I have always been able to make appts on short notice (ex. today just 45mins in advance).
My only bad experiences with them have been eye brow waxing.... and lip waxing. They just didn't do well, simple as that. And they have gotten a little expensive over the years, my used-to-be $27 haircut was about $45 today. If you want a great haircut, however, it's the perfect place.

Pros: Good advice, good cuts, available, meticulous

Cons: Bad waxing experiences, a little pricey

I have been going to Leonardo's since it opened. The staff is wonderful! Very friendly and knowledgeable. Micki is an amazing stylist! She's also such a nice person. The products they use the best. I would never go anywhere else. Thank you Micki!

Pros: Great people, service and products! Convenient location, plenty of parking

I've been going to see Stacey for a few months now and she does a fabulous job. I have never gotten so many compliments on my hair before. My hair is naturally very dark but she always manages to make me a gorgeous redhead. It is very hard to maintain being a redhead but no matter what my hair always looks great! She's consistent, does whatever you want her to do, and just has a natural knack for being a stylist. I live in JP so the trip to Quincy every 5 weeks is kind of out of the way but I would go wherever I had to to have Stacey be my stylist!

Pros: Convenient location by T or car, not too pricey, friendly staff

I was referred to this salon from a friend who also knows the owner. I had been going to the same hair stylest for 30 years and since he has retired, I have not been able to find someone I liked as much. I had a hair cut and foil by the owner and was THRILLED! She spent 2 hours with me and I loved the outcome. I'm looking forward to going back in the future (also trying the Mystic Tan before vacation)

I highly recommend this salon~

Leonardo's is an eclectic salon with an informal atmosphere. Sheryl Kane is an excellent color specialist and stylist, who listens to her customers requests. The staff are extremely accomodating to your scheduling needs. Very impressed with this salon.

leonardo's was recommended to me by my sister in law who knows the owner and has her hair done there. I went in for a brow wax last year. The young girl at the desk brought me back to the waxing area. When she began to wax, i was thinking she seems really young to have her esthetician license. When she was done, i was horrified to find that my brows were uneven. one perpetually higher than the other. I was afraid to ask her to fix it since she clearly didn't know what she was doing. I paid her, coughed up a measly tip and ran home for my tweezers. A few weeks ago, my cousin went in for a foil. blonde highlights please. she came out, not with highlights, but completely blonde. and with roots! she had to find another salon to fix the damage. i wouldn't let these clowns wash my dog's hair.

The staff at Leonaro's Salon and Spa is professional and friendly. Headed up by owner Mickey, the salon provides top service at a reasonable price. I would not go anywhere else! Leonardo's also offers tanning services, which keeps me looking healthy all year long without the UVs.

Pros: Parking, location, service

Cons: None!
