"Bad Puppy!"

by Bubba W.

I enrolled my puppy rottie to Canine College because it was told to me several times that puppies NEED training. So immediately after adopting him, I brought him to this school for a 5-week puppy training. HORRIBLE! Trainer was humiliating, sarcastic, impatient which made both me and my puppy nervous in front of the class. I basically paid $100.00 to be humilitated in front of a group with my brand new puppy. This was the experience and the memory of this college.

Amazing Dog Training Program

by Anonymous

We sent our 10 week old lab to their resident training for obedience training for two weeks. We were totally amazed with how well behaved he was after only two weeks of training there. The staff was truly caring and understanding of our needs and the needs of our puppy. They are true animal lovers that have an amazing ability to teach dogs to behave well. We couldn't speak more highly of their resident training program and how much happier and well behaved our dog is now. For anyone frustrated with the behavior of their dog...this is the best thing going (especially if they are still young).

Great training

by Anonymous

We recently brought our dog there for a 2-week residence training and were impressed with the facility. The staff is wonderful, very pleasant to deal with, and they don't have the preconceived notions of different dog breeds (ie. pit bulls, etc). To them, it's just a dog; they don't think, "Well, it 's a vicious breed so therefore the dog must be vicious."
They've recently built a brand new indoor, climate controlled kennel which is kept spotless, and they're building a new grooming "salon."
My dog did wonderfully there and we won't hesitate to bring him back for future training.

Canine College Is Horrible

by Eric D.

If I could give negative stars for this review, I would. I brought my Silky Terrier in to boarded and groomed. When I picked him up the next day, he had been shaved bald. They told me his hair was too matted and that they couldn't do anything about it, so they shaved it instead. They never called me to ask if this was alright with me, they just went ahead and did it on their own. I asked for his hair to be trimmed, but they shaved everything off. If he was matted, they should have done nothing and told me the situation. Instead, he was unrecognizable when I picked him up. The girl behind the desk said "sorry, but we're not professional groomers". If they're not professional groomers, then why advertise that they groom on their website? I discovered later when I got home that he had been cut multiple times with the electric razor they used to shave his face and ears. The hair around his mouth and legs was hacked, pieces were very uneven and it looked like a seven year old had been doing the trimming. He won't eat or drink and he is obviously very upset from this experience. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Please stay away and save your pet the pain.

good training school

by Heather B. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 9,258

This place was great when we went there for dog training. They worked with many different types of dogs from aggressive to the meak and mild and did well with all. you can do private lessons, drop your dogs off or do group classes. They even do some specialty training. They board the dogs too but mainly ONLY have outdoor spots to board them so I would NOT recommend them for that.
