Cotuit Grocery Co

Summering in Cotuit since the 1970's this was the only place in town to find some groceries quickly. Boy, have they changed since then!

Now I can take my family to The Coop for breakfast, lunch or a snack and to buy a few needed groceries. The food is pretty good and the kitchen is clean. Then at night I can run out for a bottle of wine or beer if we have unexpected guests.

What I really love is the FREE Wi-Fi while I am having my morning coffee, I not only can check my email but I can relax on the comfy chairs and read the paper. It is almost like a "local" Starbucks at half the price. If you dont have "high speed" in your summer home, stop by The Coop for breakfast.

As a lifelong summer resident of cotuit, i have witnessed the endless changes of cotuit grocery. i have watched as the cotuit pizza factory moved out, as swifts market moved in, and now cotuit grocery has been completely revamped to a cleaner, well stocked store. with a small section of quality groceries, fresh fruits, vegetables, and meats, this store saves time for anyone directly in cotuit. i like to buy premade sandwiches, which are made fresh daily, but one can also buy sanwiches made to order, or even a hamburger grilled in minutes. there is so much variety at this little store, so much that one can even buy there alcohol here, or even penny candy. this store is a favorite for any cotuit resident, but useless for anyone outside cotuit.

CONS: bad hours of operation, sometimes pricey
