Ratings_icons Miracle Of Science Bar & Grill is really cool

Gina A. | insider Insider | Rank: 19,711

Used to love hanging out here when I was living in the area. Great place in the summer when they open the windows. The burgers are "gourmet" but still just a good ole burger. The atmosphere is really cool. Definitely go there for a beer and some beef with a group of friends.

It's a unique crowd here - OK, maybe not for Cambridge - but the food is very good. Really like the burgers and there's more good stuff on the menu, which actually is in the form of the periodic table. Can't make this stuff up. Friendly staff, too.

Ratings_icons The Best Dark & Stormy's

Haven't been there in a while but in my ragin' drinkin' days, this was the place for the best Dark & Stormy's outside of Bermuda.

I loved the decor, which looks like it was stripped out of an MIT lab.

Ratings_icons Food ok, but service always friendly

Try the chicken chili: it's so good, it inspired me to recreate it at home. I agree about the rest of the menu, though.

This is located between MIT and Central Square.

The Miracle of Science is a very trendy place to hang out. It has a huge periodic table of elements on one wall, and fits in perfectly with the MIT atmosphere. It is a little expensive to eat and the food isn't fantastic but it is a nice place to get drinks.
