Located at the heart of Coolidge Corner, GPS Wine & Spirits’ friendly and knowledgeable staff will be happy to help you find the spirit you’ve been looking for. In taking over from Best Cellars they’ve heavily enhanced the wine list, refining a premium selection of both red and white, including many distinguished ports, sherries, vermouths and more. A constantly running special promotion, the first and third Thursday of each month feature 20% off all in-stock wine (750ml size only), making their already great prices even more affordable. Various spirits and premium liquors are also offered, a wide variety of whiskeys, rums, vodkas and other traditional drinks. The 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month sees all in-stock liquors & spirits 10% off (750ml size only), again a great savings for both the casual buyer and the connoisseur. And of course, also featured are a variety of domestic and imported beers, including Budweiser, Miller, Heineken, Corona, Samuel Adams, Coors, Berkshire Brewing Company and more. Best Cellars doesn't boast the current popular wines and the mass-marketed selections, but their selection is great. What makes this shop unique is the staff. If you don't know much about wine, this is the place to go, as they can explain everything and give you a tasting too! Their wines are organized in categories to help you identify your preferences and find similar wines in the future. They have a lot of wines already chilled too.
