mc golf
by kelly d.
I am trying to find out the hours of Mc Golf's minature golf course. I want to find out if they are open tomorrow but the page just gives reviews, which I already know about it and love it there but my reason for looking it up on line was to see if they are open tomorrow to make plans but can't find out that and think there should be a way to find that out. Why would you give a review about a place but no info on how about going there?

Good (but sometimes buggy) driving range and mini-golf

I have primarily visited McGolf for their miniature golf course which is an above average course, but the bugs can be fierce during summer evenings. Stick to daytime visits or bring lots of insect repellant. The fact that they sell insect repellant at the office is an indication of the bug-level in summer. Despite the bugs, this is a fun place to visit. The driving range is lighted and heavily used during the summer months.
PROS: Mini-golf, Driving range
CONS: Bugs

Great place to hit some balls or play mini golf with kids
by Anonymous
Mc Golf is the best, and one of the only driving ranges/ mini golf locations around Dedham. They are open very late during the spring and summer seasons, allowing people to come after work or dinner to hit some balls or play mini golf with their kids. The parking lot is always packed, which is a great sign for a driving range. It's always nice to have others around while you hit on the range, because then theres a little extra pressure not to shank one into the woods. I like silent competition with the people around me, and Mc Golf is just a great place to go if you dont belong to a club or its too dark to go to your own club, The range is very well lit, as is the mini golf. Its a safe atmosphere and there are always tons of kids scattered across the mini golf course. There is one hole with a huge hill you putt down, and if you get a hole in one i think you win a free round of mini golf. Of course this hole is all luck, but regardless it is always everyones favorite when they play here.
PROS: open late
CONS: sometimes TOO crowded

My family has been going here for years, and through the ages it still is the best deal for mini golf all-around! Their prices are reasonable, they have plenty of parking and their location cannot be beat!

McGolf minigolf is fantastic! The holes are great, there's food and drink before and after, and if you bring some friends it's bound to be a fun night! Honestly, who doesn't have fun at McGolf? Best minigolf for miles, be sure to check it out sometime! It's great!

Dark, No theme and easy putting, subpar.
by moss617
I got what I paid for at this course. The course consists of flat holes with few obstacles. The obstacles that do exist are rocks or dips that can be easily avoided by the must unskilled putter. There was a few holes that involved hitting into a cup that lead to a pipe that dropped it onto a lower green, but even they lacked any real challenge to the first cup. There were no holes that required a skilled deflection off an obstacle. It's more or less straight shots to the cup. A few holes were perfectly flat surfaces with just the hole, not too challenging to get a hole in one. The course had no theme, and after the first 5 holes you had seen everything, the busy road way next to the course, and the housing development next to the course. The one hole which could be considered the highlight of the course was the "Money Hole" a hole in one earns you a $25.00, it was a steep ramp to a large green with a hole that was hidden, it was more blind luck than any skill, I was actually nervous walking down the stairs from the top of this hole because it was poorly lit. The course itself was clean and the landscaping was attractive, but the play of the holes was boring.
Pros: Lots of parking, and driving range next door.
Cons: Poor Lighting, No theme, Boring and Lacking Challenge
