OMG!!! They just left?.It took them about 20 minutes to deliver and set up a sofa and recliner, to the second floor. When they left we could not believe what just happened. Why? Because the other set we ordered from Ashbrook was refused, not by us, but by the drivers who did not want to deliver to the second floor without charging more $$.
Forget the big stores?Bob??s, Jordan??s, Bernie??s. We have been married and living in the same house for over 50 years, so we have tried them all. NOTHING compares to buying from FURNITURE WORLD. From the start, sales, not pushy, price, in line with the others, attitude? They WANT you to buy from them, that is why they provide service?.yes, service (remember that word?) that you cannot compare to anyone else.
Whether they are the first place you go to shop, or the last, after you do the comparison, you will see that they can??t be beat.

My name is Richard and I own Furniture World in Stoneham. One bad review hurts a business more than 10 good ones will help it. There is far more to the story with this particular customer, but she certainly has every right to tell people her side. We went above and beyond to try and appease this customer making several trips out to her house to address complaints. To say she is unreasonable is an understatement. But, sometimes no matter what we do, we can't make every customer happy. But we will certainly try.

I am not going to say we are perfect. Heck, I won't even give us a "World Class" rating (no one deserves that!), but I will say our customer service is top notch. We are a small store that does not advertise, so our service and pricing have to be better than our competitors. Why else would you bother coming in? We don't have trapeze, a movie theater, cookies, or free t.v.'s. What we do have is honesty, great prices, and superior customer service.

We have a clean record with the better business bureau and hold one of the highest ratings in New England with Checkbook magazine. Out of all the places online that people can review us, I only found two. If we were a bad operation, we would get bashed left and right as do most of our competitors. As I said, we are not perfect. No one is. But we try our best to make every customers buying experience a good one. From the time they make their purchase to delivering in a reasonable time with quality delivery people, we work hard to earn a customer for the future.

The best advertising out there is word of mouth. That is the form of advertising we have used for over 30 years in this Stoneham location. Just treating people right and having them tell their friends and family about us. Come give us a try. You'll be happy you did.

I had nothing but problems with Furniture world in Stoneham Ma. I had spent over $2,500 in furniture. They had sold me a head board for my daughters bed that was to big for the frame. When I went to the store with pictures of the head board to show them what it looked like they did nothing for me. My couch is falling apart. I have had it for a year.Trying to get someone out to look at it has been a nightmare. They are giving me the run around. The customer service is horrible. I would never recommend anyone ever to buy from them.
