Toscanini's Ice Cream

I came back to visit Boston for the holiday and went straight to Toscaninis. The weather was too cold to eat ice cream but I had to have it. My favorite flavor that is usually available is the hydrox cookie, a version of cookies and cream. The owner Gus Rancatore is a super friendly with a great sense of humor.

Located just outside of Central Square, Toscanini's is very deserving of all of the accolades it gets. The atmosphere is enjoyable, and the ice cream is both unique and delicious

Ice cream made with fresh ingredients. Their blueberry ice cream just melts in your mouth and you can actually taste the fresh blueberries in it. They always have new flavours you'd never see anywhere else, and this branch has a larger selection than most branches. They had an Indian rice pudding flavour which was surpringly one of the best flavours I've had. Also try their gingersnap molasses.

Toscanini's was voted Best in Boston for Coffee and Ice Cream. Both are extremely good and the atmosphere at this location is very comfortable also. It is a little bit expensive, but for the quality of the food, it is well worth it. The layout is conducive to socializing. The owner is also very friendly.
