We have been customers of Commonwealth Motors for years. I currently drive a 2005 Honda Pilot (which I purchased from Commonwealth) and brought it in for some regular maintenance. As always the staff was helpful and friendly. I received a call detailing what additional work needed to be done, and was not pressured to do it all at once. As usual the work was done quickly and done well. I highly reccommend Commonwealth for your vehicle sales and service needs!
I just had an oil change done to my 2011 Honda CRV, and the service was great. The service fee for an oil change was significantly lower because I originally purchased my vehicle here. I think it is a great perk. Every person I encountered was polite, courteous and professional. I would highly recommend servicing your vehicle at Commonwealth Motos.
Not only did this dealership make the process of leasing a car fast and easy, but the service department is always very helpful and timely! I had a sunroof leak and they took me right in. They also are extremely quick and accommodating with regular maintenance (ie: oil changes).

I bought a new Kia Soul and went in for my first oil change... Everyone there was pleasant. I had a fuse out and they replaced it at n/c..I love my Kia Soul it runs great and is great on gas!
Bob McLean and Shaun Berryman must have to go the the Chiropractor every day for bending over backwards for their customers! Just purchased a Sorento (which I love) and they could not possibly have done a better job. There was no pressure and Bob took time to show me every detail of the car and has followed up numerous times to make sure everything is going OK. The service mananger has even called to say ""Welcome to the Commonwealth Kia family"" ! I will tell everyone looking for a Kia or any other vehicle to go see Bob and Shaun!
I was looking to lease a Chevy Cruze. I negotiated with 2 other dealerships and came down to what I thought was me best pricing. Just before I was about to head my local dealer, I respond to Commonwealth because they had sent me an e-mail. After one call, Commonwealth they put me into a better car for the same money. We signed papers that afternoon.
I bought my car in Sept of 2011 from Commonwealth Honda in Lawrence MA and was very happy with the purchase. I went back for my first service of just a simple oil change and they said it was going to take 40 minutes...it ended up only being 25 that I had to wait so it was great! I am still happy with choosing HONDA
ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED WITH THE SERVICE I HAVE RECEIVED FROM COMMONWEALTH MOTORS IN LAWRENCE!!!
WE BOUGHT MY HUSBAND'S VEHICLE FROM THEM ALMOST 8 WEEKS AGO AND ASKED FOR BRONZE STAR PLATES WHICH HE IS ENTITLED TO FOR HIS SERVICE IN IRAQ. WE'RE STILL WAITING FOR THEM!!!
THEY WERE GIVEN ALL THE DOCUMENTATION NEEDED WE PAID ALL THEIR RIDICULOUS FEE'S INCLUDING A $45 RUNNER FEE WHICH SHOULD HAVE SECURED US THE PLATES THE SAME DAY MIND YOU!
THE BOSTON RMV OFFICE WHO DEALS SOLELY WITH SPECIALTY PLATES AND IS LITERALLY A ONE PERSON OPERATION HAS NO RECEIPT OF ANY APPLICATION BEING LODGED, ANY PENDING APPLICATION IN THEIR SYSTEM AND HAS NO KNOWLEDGE OF THEM EVER BEING APPLIED FOR!
I'VE BEEN HUNG UP ON MULTIPLE TIMES INCLUDING BY THE OWNER OF COMMONWEALTH MOTORS CHARLIE DAHER WHO YELLED AT ME CALLING ME A PEST BECAUSE I'M CALLING TO FIND OUT WHERE MY PLATES ARE AND WHAT ON EARTH IS GOING ON WITH THEM!! HE STATED THAT THEY'RE NOT TRYING TO SCREW US THAT THINGS TAKE TIME YET THE LADY WHO'S JOB IT IS AT THE RMV OFFICE SAID IT TAKES A WEEK MAX!!!!
AFTER BEING CHARGED ALMOST $200.00 IN FEES FOR REGISTRATION ( KEEP IN MIND BRONZE STAR PLATES HAVE NO FEES WHATSOEVER ASSOCIATED WITH THEM AND A REGULAR PLATE IS ONLY $50 WHICH INCLUDES THE PLATE AND 1 YEARS REGISTRATION) RUNNER'S FEE'S AND WHATEVER ELSE THEY ADDED ON TO THAT, ALL I HAVE TO SHOW FOR IT IS A HEADACHE AND NO PLATES!!!
OTHER ISSUES WE INCURRED WE'RE THEIR ADVERTISED PRICES WERE NOT INCLUDING THE $2000 CASH OR TRADE. THEIR CLAUSE DOWN THE BOTTOM OF THE LISTING STATES SOME VEHICLES NOT THIS VEHICLE OR ALL VEHICLES BUT SOME!!
THEIR STAFF AREN'T ALWAYS HELPFUL OR HONEST, THEY'RE PUSHY, RUDE AND JUST WANT TO MAKE A SALE AND GET YOU OUT THE DOOR SO THEY CAN MOVE ON TO THE NEXT PERSON AND MAKE THEIR COMMISSION OR WHATEVER IT IS THEY GET!
MY HUSBAND IS A DISTINGUISHED MEMBER OF THE U.S. ARMY NATIONAL GUARD HE'S RECEIVED MULTIPLE COMMENDATIONS FOR THE 4 TOURS HE'S DONE INCLUDING A PURPLE HEART AND 2 BRONZE STARS WITH VALOR AFTER HE WAS SHOT IN THE HEAD DURING HIS SECOND TOUR. HE JUST RETURNED HOME FROM AFGHANISTAN 4 WEEKS AGO AND DOESN'T NEED THESE ISSUES!!!!!!
DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH COMMONWEALTH MOTORS IT'S NOT WORTH IT!!
BBB COMPLAINT LINE HERE I COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great experience! I did not feel pressured at all. I test drove multiple vehicles until I found the right one for me. They stayed true to Kelly Blue book values in both the sales price and the trade in value of my old car.
Every time we get our vehicles serviced at COmmonwealth MOtors we always get an exceptional customer service, that explain the process through out, the most important they are very affordable too.
They are the best. I'd recommend them without hesitation
I am more than happy to tell anyone I know about this dealership if they are in the market for a new/used car. Every sales person helped me finance and find a car that I love. I purchased my Toyota Camry in January and I love it more and more. They made the entire process easy and painless for me, even registering/ inspecting the car for me! Best dealership in the area!
My family and I had a great experience with Lamar McLaughlin and Commonwealth Motors. We got a great deal on a 2012 Honda Accord and couldn't be happier with it.
We had a great experience and couldn't imagine going somewhere else in the future
I was looking for a new car. Commonwealth motors provided the information that I needed to make an educated decision about buying my car. They were able to get me the price that I wanted to pay in order to get the car I wanted. Enyel was friendly and helpful. I love my 2012 CRV!
In all honesty, if you asked me a couple months ago I probably wouldn't be favorable but as I get in my car every day I am thankful that they had it in stock, exactly what I was looking for.
There were some bumps in the road (no pun intended) during the purchase process, the original sales guy wasn't the greatest help at all, but we did get to meet with another man who was excellent! He made sure we understood EVERY thing we needed to know about the car and any benefits they offer.
Yes, I would probably shop here again, and I do appreciate that they did what they could to make things right.
I recently went to Commonwealth Honda for the first and purchased a used vehicle. I had a exception experience with sales. The dealership, my sales person, and finance department made the purchasing process very easy and enjoyable. My first experience with service department was also great. I would highly recommend this dealership.
Frank was fantastic! Buying a new car was very stressful and Frank took the time to hold my hand through the process. I went to Commonwealth FIRST despite the shop us last motto and I ended up not going anywhere else! I will be looking to Commonwealth Motors for all my car needs, now and in the future.
Leased a Honda Pilot over the President's Day weekend in 2012. The whole experience was painless. We had a lot of questions that were immediately answered. We dealt with Paul, who was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. It is a great business and would definitely recommend to family and friends. The most pleasant car buying experience i've ever had. I love my new car.
I went to this service center for first time with my Kia Rondo and it was a great experience. They were friendly and knowledgable. Also quick service. I highly recommend them. Paul G \r
This Rating is based on the wonderful treatment my husband and I have received at your chevy dealership recently. It started with your service team Steve Brajak (sp) recommended your dealership service department to me when he had heard from my father all the problems I was having with my 2009 Saturn Aura. I bought the Saturn at Saturn of Lowell, once Saturn was no more they sent my service to Lannon Chevy of Lowell. I had the Aura in the Lannon dealership 9 times for the same electrical type problem. Steve told me he was confident commonwealth could fix my car. Unfortunately, although they tried several times they were unable to solve my problem. This had become a safety issue since the car would lose power, this was especially difficult when it did this on the highway. Doug Niles stepped in and tried to contact General Motors about my problem and what could they do to help me since it appeared I would have to buy a new car. Unfortunately General Motors does not stand behind their several thousand dollar product even though it was still under warranty. I purchased a 2012 Chevy Cruze and I love it. I do want to applaud Steve Brajak, Paul Hickey, Adam Tsoukaris, and Doug Niles of the service department. I also would like to applaud Jim Kowalik, Richie Pulsifer and Jamie DiMarie of the sales team for bending over backwards to help me in this difficult situation. As much as I hate buying a car this was indeed my best experience and all my sales and services will be done at commonwealth Chevy. So please let it be known that your chevy sales and service team are fantastic.
We purchased our awesome, brand new Kia Sorrento from Commonwealth Motors of Lawrence, MA. We havent purchased a new car for decades, we have always purchased used vehicles. I compare buying a car like contemplating a visit to the dentist, a necessary but generally speaking, an uncomfortable encounter.\r
With no pre-determined plan to purchase a car on that particular day, we for the hell of it, visited my old neighborhood and the dealership.\r
From our entrance to present, through the introduction and greeting, trial and error test runs of different vehicles, number crunching and the final decisions, we found the complete transaction and follow-ups to be professional and mutually satisfying to all concerned parties.\r
Our initial contact with Markino Mathurin was cordial, informative, and actually enjoyable. As time progressed and our interest peaked our final decision, because of a double trade in became more involved to finalize. Therefore Sales Manager Shawn Berryman and Charles Dahar Jr., had to authorize the final agreement. All personnel continued to be professional and dedicated toward customer satisfaction.\r
Thanks to Markino, Shawn, and Charles Jr., for all their insights toward this purchase. Without their expertise it wouldnt have happened. Keith Audy was a post-sale plus, his unselfish world of knowledge and assistance is what separates Commonwealth from the rest. Hiram Creig finalized the paperwork with efficiency. We are happy Kia owners and Commonwealth believers. We will not hesitate, in the future, to shop Commonwealth FIRST and LAST. \r

The Coletti's
The dealership adjusted my Honda as I wanted, they put leather and gave price discount. My manager understood all my issues and concerns and was constantly good person to work with even when I was hesitant.
This was my first time leasing a car and I have been extremely happy with the entire process. I received an amazing price on the lease and was fully supported throughout my decision-making process. The sales representative was very helpful and helped me find the right color for the car and when it came in he called me right away. I was informed me of everything I needed to know about leasing a car. Everyone at the dealership was friendly! I am very happy with my purchase. It was a very easy and painless process and a lot less intimidating than I thought it would be in the first place.
We recently purchased our vehicle from a salesman by the name John Thompson. He was extremely friendly and polite and very knowledgeable with the vehicle information.
He walked us through all the vehicle information and took the time to sit with me when I picked up the vehicle and showed me everything step by step. We really enjoyed working with him. What a professional. Thanks John
Purchased a New Honda last week had such an amazing place to purchase a car. Everyone at the dealership were friendly and kind. The sales rep we had was very kind and knew all the answers to our questions. I highly recommend this Commonwealth Honda such a great place to buy...... Thank you Jeff for making the transaction smooth and quick!

This is my 3rd new car purchase at Commonwealth Honda and there are plenty of reasons why it won't be the last. This is truly a no pressure environment loaded with knowledgeable salespeople of all the Honda products. It's a family run business and that shows in everything they do. The owners are hands-on. \r
\r
But let's face it, what matters the most is that we all want a great deal when buying a new car and while I've tested many of the other dealers every time I've purchased a new Honda, Commonwealth always has the best price. Don't waste your time at the big multi-location dealerships. I like Commonwealth's slogan ""Shop Us Last"" but if you want to save time and moeny, I'd change the slogan to ""Shop Them First and Only""\r

We recently purchased our new car at Common Wealth Motors. We were greeted by a professional sales person Steve, who thoroughly answered all of are questions. We did sit down with him and were given a price for the vehicle with no pressure to purchase immediately and no annoying calls after we left. When we finally decided to buy, we went back to them and purchased the vehicle. Steve took the time to go over every features of the car and also set up my phone to the cars system. This is our second vehicle purchase from Common Wealth Motors and we came back because of the service we received the 1st time around.
We recently purchased our new car at Commonwealth Motors. We were greeted by a professional sales person who did not pressure us and encouraged us to walk around and check out the Kia Sorrento's. We did our homework and research before going to the dealer and were very satisfied with the price. This is our second vehicle purchase from Commonwealth Motors and we came back because of the service and reputation we received the 1st time around. We were also impressed with the follow up from the entire sales staff, including Ms. Daher (one of the owners), who called to make sure we were completely satisfied!
We recently bought our Honda CRV at Commonwealth Motors back in October 2011 and this was the first time we brought the car in for routine maintenance and we were thouroughly impressed! Both my husband and I work during the week so their Saturday hours are key and we were in and out in a flash. The free coffee, cookies, and movie that plays on their large plasma tv while you are waiting is a real bonus! We would definitely recommend this dealership for sales and service.
My wife and I returned to Commonwealth Honda for our second lease. Commonwealth Motors provided a great deal for us. In our first experience 3 years ago, we felt that a genuine attempt was made to build a friendly and trusting relationship with us. As returning customers they not only built on that foundation but were even more flexible with us. They received our previous Honda Civic lease early, forgave some dings in the car and provided a new 2012 Honda Civic lease with more technology and internal space for an affordable price. If you live in the general Lawrence area and are looking for a Honda, our experience was that you will not only find a good deal with less sales pressure but also build for a good future relationship. We dealt with a saleman named Vladmir Lopez; ask for him...he's great!
I had a very positive experience down at Commonwealth Honda this week. I went down to lease my first car. The whole thing was very smooth. I would recommend everyone to go down there. The people that work there are very kind and easy to deal with. My salesman Khasin was terrific. Keep it up Commonwealth!
I purchased my new Nissan Altima 3.5 SR 3 weeks ago at Commonwealth Nissan in Lawrence Ma. The Sales person Lamar and the Sales Manager Bobby Barry was very patient with me as I could not make up my mind on what car I wanted to purchase. I finally decided on the Altima. We worked on a great deal which included the trade in on my car. They made this all happen for me in a few days. I went there to get prices and compare with other dealerships but after the great treatment and great deal they offered me I did not bother going anywhere else. \r
I LOVE my car and I am giving this review to share with you my experience ...go and see yourself!\r

I bought my Honda Accord at Commonwealth 3 years ago and have been going there ever since for all my service. From the moment you walk in you feel like you are important to them. I have NEVER had an problems there or with my car. They are just a great dealership. Their waiting are waiting area is so big, I haven't experienced this before at a dealership. There is always a movie on, hot coffee and snacks so they do care about their customers. My only issue is the coupons that you get, not great, but that comes from Honda, maybe the dealer could offer their own.\r

I bought a new car from Commonwealth Honda recently. The reason I bought from them was the high volume of positive reviews they received on several websites which probably derives from the fact that Commonwealth Honda pays $50 dollars for positive reviews received from their customers. After I bought the car the salesmen gave me a pink card with all the web sites I should go to post a review and for positive reviews I would get $50 dollars. I decided to waive the $50 and let you all know about my real experience with Commonwealth Honda:
My experience dealing with Commonwealth Honda was similar to a root canal. The salesmen as well as the general sales manager treated me like nuisance reminding me that they were not making any money from the model of Honda I was buying. They ripped me off on my trade-in (compared to Kelly BB and Edmunds) and they gave me a hard time even on the color of the car. A few days after I bought the car a 6 inch crack appeared in the windshield of the car due to a manufacturing defect. I went back to Commonwealth Honda where I was met with hostility by the Commonwealth Honda service department representative who refused to replace the windshield.
If you are looking for a root canal experience Commonwealth Honda is the place to go. I personally do not recommend this place to anyone.
Honda is not what it used to be.
New Car Purchase from Commonwealth Motors, Lawrence, MA\r

This was our first experience buying a car from Commonwealth and we are glad they recently started selling Nissan's. This was the second dealership that we went too and we ended up purchasing our new 2011 Maxima from them a couple of weeks ago. They were professional and friendly to deal with and we are completely satisfied with our purchase. \r
\r
The assistance that we received from our Salesperson, Franklyn Veloz and the Manager, Alfredo (sorry...I don't have his last name), was outstanding. They were willing to work with us to get to a fair price for the car and located a vehicle with the options we wanted and in the color we wanted without hesitation. \r
\r
The service we received from Karen Pelletier while completing all of the paperwork to finance the purchase was outstanding as well. She was informative, helpful, knowledgeable and very pleasant to deal with. \r
\r
We are completely satisfied with our experience with Commonwealth and we would not hesitate to purchase another vehicle from them in the future. We will also recommend their dealership to our friends and family without hesitation when they are in the market for a new vehicle.\r

Thank you,\r

I had a very positive experience with Commonwealth Honda on my recent purchase of a 2012 Honda CRV EX. Our sales person, Chris Drew, greeted us outside(even though it was very chilly that day) and was very easy going and informative. He was happy to show and explain to us every car from 2009 pre certified CRVs to the new 2012 and never pressured us into something we did not feel comfortable. The financing process took a little longer than we would have liked, but the end result was a great interest rate so it was definitely worth it. Would definitely recommend Commonwealth Honda and salesperson Chris Drew.
I just bought another car (2nd VW) at Commonwealth Motors in Lawrence MA. I was again completely satisfied with the price, the friendliness of the sales and finance staff and the prompt delivery. I will continue to recommend this dealership to my family and friends.
If you need quick service on small auto maintenance jobs at very competitive prices than you can't do better than Commonwealth Honda's Service department: friendly staff, great waiting area with a huge flat panel and wifi.
Everyone at the dealership were super friendly and informative. They seemed to be truly happy that I am a customer. I feel like I got a great deal and am happy with that! They even came and got me the day I was picking up my new car. That was a great help!\r

I had the best experiednce I ever had purchasing a vehicle. Keith Audey was professional, knowlegeable., answered all my concerns and is very customer oriented. Also, the Finance and Dept. Managers were also the same. They made me feel at ease with no pressure at all. I would recommend Commonwealth to friends and family and it was a pleasure doing business with them.
They have an excellent customer service and all my doubts or questions were answered. Above all the price was fair. I decided to by an new Odyssey and enjoying my van for 5months. The buying process was very easy and completed same day. I went to lot of other dealer before buying from them but found this dealer very customer friendly. I also did lot of research on price and got a very fair price from them. I will recommend going to this Commonwealth Honda. Happy to be part of them.
I had a wonderful buying experience at Commonwealth Motors. I really needed help deciding what to buy as I was switching brands due to the tsunami induced unavailabilty of my usual choice. I was fortunate to have a well informed and helpful salesperson, John, who inrtoduced me to several alternatives. Obviously I would recommend Commonwealth Motors as I am a repeat customer and appreciate the quality of service as well as the smooth sale.
I had a very good buying experience with Commonwealth Motors when I purchased my new Kia at Commonwealth.
Bob McLean was very helpful and honest and understanding in all aspects of what I was looking for. I highly recommend this dealership for a future buy.
From the moment I drove in I was pleased with the service. The wait was minimal and the attendant took care of me almost instantly. The waiting area was comfortable and clean. The car was well inspected and I was told of possible things that would need to be taken care of. I will definitely come here again.
I leased a 2012 Honda Civic this past weekend, late on Sunday, drove it home on Tuesday evening! This is my 3rd leased Honda at Commonwealth and my best experience, yet. Both Gary K. and John M. made my experience easy and affordable! I love my new car!
I took my Nissan Xterra in for service having never been to Commonwealth before. The service was great and they took the time to explain what I needed done and didn't try to sell me anything additional that I did not need. The waiting rooms are comfortable and clean with lots of options of where to sit depending on if you want to watch tv or use wifi. The bathrooms are extremely clean and everyone was great! I worked with Sean and Fred. This is now my new dealership for service of my Xterra and when I am in the market for a new car I will be heading to Commonwealth Motors!
I highly recommend this dealership and with it's close proximity to RT495 it is also extremely easy to get to!!
I had an amazing experience going to Commonwealth Dealership. I shopped them last and I am pleased for doing so. I dealt with other dealerships looking for a new VW Jetta and had awful experience. Lawerence Commonwealth is very professional and helpful without feeling pressured into buying. Nick was amazing to work with. Best dealer I have every worked with. I highly recommend Lawerence Commonwealth dealership.\r
I have bought two cars from commonwealth motors and have been extremely pleased on both occasions. The salesman John found my particular needs and satisfied them. A+ thank you commonwealth!!
second car from commonwealth honda .highly recommended.
I just bought my third vehicle from this dealership and I will be going back there the next time I need to by a vehicle. The truly believe in service, giving the cutomer what they need and finding a way to get you the deal that you want.
I just got my car serviced today at Commonwealth Honda. They are excellent mechanics and have such nice employees. They even offer a shuttle service, they brought me all the way to the far end of lowell and even picked me up. The prices are very fair and I highly recommend going to Commonwealth Honda!\r
