I have been to the Eastside Grill a few times and have always been pleased. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly. I do recommend going early to avoid a long wait

Our dinning experience here was not great. The food was wonderful! The service was the worst. It took so long to get our food..Not only that but it was crowded and the waiters were busy so there was no personal service. No drinks refilled, took a really long time to get our check. I would only recommend this restaurant one with no kids and two if you don't mind sitting for a long time.

Love Eastside. One of my favorite places to eat. Love their specials but normally I get the blackened tips and scallops. YUM. The service is always great. The bar area is very small but cozy. The prices are good, most meals are under $20.00 . Worth the ride to Northampton.

We love to go to the Eastside Grill. The wait may be long but the food is well worth the wait. I suggest getting their early. There is usually less of a wait.

I used to go to Eastside Grill all the time. After a few bad experiences I have been turned off from the whole place. I have not been back since. Maybe when the menu changes and they have more of a selection will I then go back.

Great food!! We have always had a good meal here. The steak is delicious. Saturday nights are very crowded and you will wait. If you go during the week, you do not need to wait. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Restaurant has been around for many years. The food is always delicious and innovative. The gorgonzola salad dressing is the best. Great atmosphere and always a wait which is a good sign for great food

Four of us dined at ESG on 11/9/08 and only one of us had an acceptable meal. For appetizers we ordered the Seared Tuna with Wontons and Flash Fried Spicy Calamari only to have our server return and state they do not serve the Tuna on Sundays. We substituted this dish for the Portobello Mushroom Crostini. The calamari was done perfectly but had no hint of any spice and the jalapeno-lime aioli that came with the dish was tasteless. The mushrooms were not very warm, but the gorgonzola sauce that toped the dish was very good.
For entrees, the Eastside Sirloin was overcooked and was sent back, unfortunately the replacement was so tough it dulled the steak knife. The Blackened Tenderloin Tips and Scallops faired no better. Very small tips that were overdone and tough and the scallops suffered the same fate to a lesser degree. The Crab Cakes with Crunchy Slaw was acceptable but not noteworthy. The best meal of the night was the Sesame Scallops with Lobster and Sake which was done perfectly and the sauce was wonderful.
Having dined at ESG many times over the years, I can no longer recommend this restaurant due to their inconsistency. The restaurant was sold a few months ago, but the new owner has maintained the same staff and cooks so why the steep decline?
Pros: Location
Cons: Food quality is inconsistant

Wonderful food. Friendly and casual, but prompt and attentive service. Astonishing variety of American and non-traditional meals. A couple of very good-looking vegetarian specials. Very sophisticated offerings and presentations, and usually between $14-18, quite reasonable for what you get. One of my 10 favorite places anywhere. Prime time can be very crowded.
Pros: Food, service, atmosphere
Cons: About the ONLY thing is the crowds at prime time, but that's to be expected.

"The food and atmosphere here are both excellent. Most of the steaks ..."
