Pho Pasteur Restaurant
This is the best place in Boston to get Pho! The broth is very flavorful and the noodles are just the right consistency. I've been to other pho places and the broth is thin (like they haven't cooked it long enough - Pho Pasteur cooks it over 12 hours!) and the noodles are either too mushy or not cooked enough. I've heard that the Chinatown branch's pho is even better than the Harvard Square's, but I haven't tried it yet. The pho is also a great deal at only $5.25 for a small - big enough to be a whole meal. There's also a lot of Vietnamese people always there, so you know it's got to be authentic and good.
