I will start with the first time I ordered take out from this restaurant about a month ago. I asked the hostess (an older woman in her 50's/60'swho appeared to be the restaurant owner or family of the owner) to make the dish non-spicy and she said she would do so. When I returned to pick up the food, I noticed that I was given the spicy version of the dish. I tried to address this with the hostess, and she raised her voice at me and insisted that I had asked for the spicy version in the first place. I was in a hurry and so I just let it go that time. Last week, I went there again to order take out (Ox Meat Boa from the Chinese Menu). I pointed to the menu and told her that the Ox Meat Boa was what I'd like to order. The hostess repeated after me so I was 100% sure that she knew I
wanted the Ox Meat Boa. When I returned to pick up the food 20 minutes later, I noticed that I was given the Seafood Boa instead. I confronted the hostess about the mistake and she immediately said "No ox meat" and then suddenly switched to raising her voice and accusing me of ordering the Seafood Boa in the first place! I reminded her that I DID order the Ox Meat Boa and she knew it. She continued to yell at me and insisted that I asked for the Seafood Boa. So I repeated myself one more time (increasing the volume of my voice to shut her up) and left the restaurant. I was REALLY disgusted at her rudeness and dishonesty, especially when this was not the first time it happened. Had she told me nicely that they ran out of ox meat, or she accidentally made a mistake with the order, I would have understood and be ok with it. It's pathetic and disgusting that she felt the need to lie, to blame, to manipulate and intimidate (by yelling false accusations) instead of offering a simple apology and explanation. She obviously did not know what good Customer Service means. What a pity that a decent restaurant with good dishes ended up losing customers because of the hostess' rude and dishonest behavior. SHAME! SHAME! SHAME!

Totally authentic szechuan food and very very spicy! I was introduced to this place from my friend who is actually from the Szechuan region of China and she says this food is just like from home. It's a small-medium sized restaurant and the waitstaff is very courteous. Beware, this food could burn your tastebuds off!
