Been going for years for my 3 dogs for health care and boarding and am very happy. They have done routine and emergency care and always been very competent and caring. They know us and have always accomodated our boarding needs too.

We were horified at how unprofessional they were! We have a large breed dog. Doc was afraid of him; gave us a tupperware dish (litterally) to follow him with in their front yard to get a unrine sample (seriously!); doc was wearing a mini skirt and didn't want to get close because she might get scratched on her legs! The whole experience was surreal. Was our first and LAST. Maybe if you have a lap dog they'd be fine. But don't look for anything advanced (like a urine sample). I just hope they have improved in the past couple years.

We have used Acorn for over 20 years now. We had older pets that had to be euthanized and they were very helpful, offering me choices and handling things when I couldn't bear to.

My 5 year old dog loves to go there. He is so anxious he pulls me in!! They are so qualified, he never even makes a sound for shots!!

I had to get an emergency appointment for a family member's cat that he was no longer able to care for. I called at closing time on a friday afternoon and got an appointment for the first thing saturday morning. I have to say I wish some "people" clinics and doctors could learn something watching this center operate.

I have been bringing my cats to Acorn Animal Hospital for over 20 years across two locations over that time frame. They have always been very attentive to my animals as well as timely addressing any concerns that I might have re: their well-being, potential surgeries, diet etc. My cats have enjoyed (and will enjoy) very long lives (one at 20 years old) due to their diligent care.

I feel bad for the person that feels they are only after people's money. That is terrible, and to be fair to Acorn, nothing could be further from the truth. They are so caring and understanding and I have never found a place I am as comfortable with. Even when i moved away I still drive further than i need to passing many vets along the way, to bring our animals to Acorn.

I have been going to Acorn for over 15 years, and I highly highly recommend their entire staff.

My experiences with Acorn Animal Hospital have all been good. I have found all the staff caring and knowledgable. They were very offered lyme vaccination early for both of my dogs. Whenever I had needed them they have been there for my animals. I have found their prices reasonable. Good staff! Great place!

Everytime I go to Acorn I am greeted with a smile and courtous manner. Whenever I bring one of my animals in, I feel they get 1st class attention and care. I trust Acorn with my beloved pets and would reccommend them to anyone that wanted the same quality care!

Pros: New facility

They are all about the money not the pets :( They will overcharge for everything and compromise your pets health for more money. Example they will wait for your dog/cat to get Lime disease before offering to you a vaccine for Lime, now you need antibiotics, blood and urine tests every 6 months and sadly your dog/cat will have Lime disease for the rest of there life. Icing on the cake they will try to get you to buy the vaccine after shes infected.. Don't its all a rip off just leave and don't come back.

There all about is the money not the pets... kinda sad :( Example: They will wait for your dog to get Lime disease before telling you there's a vaccine then offer the vaccine but also now you need antibiotics, lab tests, urine tests every 6 six months. Plus your dog now has Lime disease for the rest of his/her life. Also they will offer to fill your scripts there. Don't do it take the scripts to a pharmacy you will save about half the cost.

We have been bringing our dog to Acorn since we moved to Franklin almost two years ago. The service has always been excellent. It's easy to get an appointment and they are very professional and caring. Mostly routine check-ups, but we did bring out dog in about 6 months ago b/c of an abcess on his neck. They performed the surgery, called us right after to let us know how he was doing. He stayed the night and everything went great. Their prices are probably on the higher end, but the care is very good.
